- First Look at the new Dayz mod for Arma Reforger. This is the first time i have played reforger since its release, and it has come a long way with modding. And now that there is a dayz mod, i thought it would only be right if i jumped in and gave it a shot!

Guys before you watch go to advanced settings and select the best setting for your device you won't be disappointed with the graphics it looks epic
ye if this mod takes off standalone can pack it..the arma weapons feel is much better than standalones..

Don't know much about how the hit markers are supposed to work, but hope there will still be blood splatter so u at least u know if u landed shots..
Yeah I was a bit unsure about that, because I felt like I was hitting people, and seen no blood and then the guy I shot at the airfield there was blood splat, might be a little inconsistent atm
@CitrusPunch Yeah for sure..was weird..but I will say the 1 thing I really hope they sort out are freaking vehicles working properly and consistently 😂

Where do you find this server? There's no DayZ servers up and running from what I see.
I think reforger had an update which might have broken the mod for the time being, I wasn't able to see it after the update
So this means DAYZ mod is still alive after last big update?

PLayed it a couple of times.. not really ..it's still far far from ready to be played as dayZ.But it would be nice if they have a working Dayz on Reforged with more loot and vehicles and base building, because now you just loot clothes .. a backpack .. only few guns and that's it.

@@laughingbabydayzclips Find me a vanilla server that isn't offical and ill play it. Barely any are full on Spaggies, thats why i play on lightly modded mostly

I just typed in Dayz on reforger and there was 2 servers I can't remember which one, the one that was most populated haha
Defo potential, but on RUclips it doesn't look as good as playing. You really see the difference when in game.
of course, same as most games sadly RUclips compression is a nightmare

How i can Play this?
If you have reforger on steam, load up the game and type in DayZ in the server browser
I try to get on but the Ping is horrible.
Yeah I've not been able to get on for a few days after the reforger update

Oof this looks like a step back from dayz. Graphics, gunplay and movement it all looks/feels super weird. I have played a bit of reforger and so far i dont really like the way it plays and looks.
I think the only thing this beats dayz in is graphics, playing looks better than in video but it doesn't give you that dark dull dayz vibe. Other than that it is quite clunky but we have to remember reforger isn't arma 4 so we'll see where that takes us in time

Yeah it's over modded but it's showing the progress of the mod it's not fine tuned by any means
