The SO sunder build you have there looks really nice. Plenty of fleet PD to support it to make the thing an absolute fuck cannon. Very cool.

Tempests are no joke. But I just prefer Glimmers with 200+ top speed 😉 Good work tho

Yeah I specifically avoided the BEST frigates for this video, to show people I send this video who doubt wolfpack that they don't need the strongest frigates or many mercenaries hired to make wolfpack effective. It does make it harder though. actually had to play the game and not afk smh

I play Glimmer just for give 5 ship with delatcore, with ECM skill and package, for 6x5 = 30% ECM in fight. But i never thing than can be a real IA battle ship.

The point was to show it can be done without all hyperions, not that this is better

    What’s your Omen build?

      12:54 timestamp for omen build.
Note: I've since moved to using AMB and not IR pulse laser.

@@TheSweetSpirit So, just one weapon, the antimatter blaster, and no PD?

@@piedpiper1172 The EMP arc emitter is omen's point defense, giving it a PD weapon is usually overkill. However you can give it a burst PD laser, it synergizes with how the EMP arc emitter works.

@@TheSweetSpirit I’m in my first play through, and I only have a few mods because I knew before I began I wanted to do Wolfpack. So I have no modded weapons or ships, mostly the various graphical/sound/information mods, and then power/balance-wise the only mods I have are Fleet Size by DP and Progressive S Mods.
I discovered the LP Brawler fairly early on, which I now gather is popular among a lot of people. So I’ve been running mostly 2AC/2Sabot LP Brawlers with an Omen set to escort them.
I’ve added HB & Sabot Shrikes (with extra pulse laser if captain has ample flux to keep above weapon drain), 3-4 Monitors, and then some Hammerheads as my “line” when I think I need it.
I only have a handful of AB’s, just can’t seem to find them. I’ll try out swapping my Omen’s to AB when I find 5 so I can swap them all at once, just a little nervous about my LP Brawler’s losing their PD cover. Monitors are kinda slow, and I usually assign them to cover the Hammerheads or my Retribution (don’t worry, it has S-Mod insulated engines so it doesn’t raise my fleet signature, Unstable Injectors, and all HMG/DLMG/Dev Cannon. It doesn’t know it’s not a LP Brawler).

@@piedpiper1172 I would give LP brawler LMG/DLMG instead. You seem to know it's powerful, so i'm surprised you'd give it sabots instead.
Monitors are faster (and overall better) if you give it Safety Overrides. They have a lot of PPT (peak performance time) so using SO on monitor is no big deal if you go and give the monitor hardened subsystems.
Point defense 'escort' is tricky. Because almost all point defense weapons cannot shoot over friendly hitboxes, point defense generally struggles with protecting allies. There are two exceptions to this
      1. long range high accuracy point defense can screen for allies because it's less likely an allied hitbox will be in the way if the missile is far away (Note: Normal weapons are decent at killing fighters so it's not as big of a deal as often)
      2. Paladin Point Defense and Arc Emitter system.
So, Omen does make for a good point defense escort, but this is because of its arc emitter system, not because of any point defense weapons you give it. And you can't give an omen an actually effective long range point defense weapon; they lack cruiser-range ITU and they lack long range PD weapons that do enough damage to be worthwhile.
In vanilla, generally there aren't missiles or fighters to worry about killing your brawlers **unless you're fighting the Persean League** then you have to worry about DEM spam killing frigates.

"when you abuse normal ships" spams Omens and Tempests
"normal ships" would be low tech trash, any high tech frigate can be spammed to incur victory
