¡Hola Joana Gama! He descubierto hartos.
Joasiu, wydobylas tu cale piekno...Tak powinno sie grac ten pozornie prosty kawaleczek. Tak chcial Arvo Part..Subtelnie. I ty wiesz co to znaczy, dziekuje!!!!!
On ‘Fur Elina’ by Arvo Pärt The sequence of notes and silence in the harmonic envelope Pärt chose for the piece bespeaks to me of a possibility that may only exist for our kind in imagination - a life of work and play in alert repose holding each moment in exactly a way appropriate to when and where the listener in waiting stands… with time stretched out, and the pressure of mortality eased, allowing everything and everyone to encompass all that is called for: the foundation of peace found in an end to frantic activity. For the brief moment of listening, all that remains problematic in the experience of mortal sentient humanity goes away. Pieces of music like ‘Fur Elina’ for me create for a moment the sense or feeling that broken balance or sacred connection has been restored, as though it always has been; a moment in time in which what is the current condition isn't anymore, briefly. Some artists might suggest -- largely those not duped by the "art for art's sake" dogma -- that creating like moments is what art is _for_; what it is intended to do. I think this was the aim and lost direction of what has now come to be called Faith. Only the tip of the iceberg of the work’s implicit dissent would be political and social.
Lovely. I'm interested that the last note of each bar is sound for two whole notes, not one. I think this is much preferable. The art of playing this nicely seems to be in the relative volume of the treble note compared to that of the accompanying note below it, which needs to be audible but subdued. This and just the right touch of rubato. Joana does both these things really well.
Hi Chris I have just purchased this piece of music to play on the piano learn even, any tips you sound as though you know it and there are two whole notes at the end of most bars best Denise
Felt I could have listened for ever
Why so many dislikes?? 31 out of 1000 is outrageous given the quality of this interpretation. Bravissima!
Beautifully played and filmed! Bravo!

Interesting technique. You have perfect timing and I really enjoyed your performance.
Portugal is on another level.
I honestly love it. Your play this piece with a tenderness that i have rarely seen before
You mean that you have rarely 'heard' this tenderness.

Jarring high notes. Too bad, better sound engineer.
To be honest, not my preferred type of music
