    I have just come across your program for the first time and thourghly enjoyed it.
    I am 77years old, have been a practising Catholic all my life, very involved with my church here in Australia.
    I noticed when you were making the sign of the Cross and saying it you did so very quickly, as though it was something to be done as soon as possible.
    Remember, many young people ( and not so young!!) are watching you and will follow your example, so please, say it slowly and reverently.
    When I am making the sign of the Cross over myself I make sure to do so correctly because I don't know who is watching.
    I pray God will continue to bless each of you and the wonderful work you are doing to spread His love and message.
    Kund regards Margaret. 💖✝️🕊

    Worshiping Mary & the Saints, do Catholics hate sex & homosexuality, there is no place in the Church for women… so many good nuggets in this & I learned so much! 👏

    I would like to share with you guys what I know by the grace of our lord Jesus about his beloved mother, what our lord says and thinks of his beloved mother to this prophet of the end times from Greece and please share to others as well so they too can repent and convert to the real church of Christ and to accept our lords mother as their mother because without Mary they won’t be saved because Jesus and Mary became one in spirit and flesh their hearts became one just like Jesus is one with the father so is Jesus with his beloved mother who she is the fathers master piece of his vineyard ruclips.net/video/SRGuiXvMveU/видео.htmlsi=9pEKc5vfcyT4WGxN may our lord have mercy on our brothers who denies and reject the one who can save them and to bring them to the real Jesus that came from her 🙏❤️😊🕊

    There are also Many misconceptions about Eastern Rite/Byzantine Catholic and Orthodox Eastern Faith and Church
    Orthodox do Not worship Icons
    All glory and honor passes to the prototype, Christ Jesus
    For Orthodox, it's not just a " service" or church, it's participation in the heavenly worship of the Saints and Angels
    A foretaste of the glory of Heaven with God

    I don't want this to come across as hostile, but some observations from your conversation.
    I noticed when you spoke about the hail mary the subject was changed from praying TO, to praying FOR.
    "Even protestants have other people pray for them..." Apples and oranges. Mary has a direct line to Jesus? So do we. We are never told or encouraged ever, to pray to anyone other than God.
    And as far as worship vs veneration is hardly a distinction when there are many prayers TO mary that are full of worship. Sorry but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....And Ligiouri, a rc Dr. and Saint says mary is adored in the same sentence with Jesus.
    Saints: I ask this all the time. Can you give me one person by name in the bible that does what youre suggesting? The object of prayer 100% of the time is God. And not to get off topic but just because the rcc has a process to canonize people is by no means a proof they are in heaven. Jesus is the one who intercedes for us;
    (Heb 7:25 [ESV2011])
    Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
    He knows our temptations and weaknesses;
    (Heb 2:18 [ESV2011])
    For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
    (Heb 4:15 [ESV2011])
    For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
    Are there any verses that tell us to pray to saints in heaven?
    Faith and works: Not sure why catholics always get this wrong. Sola Fide does not mean that when we are saved we have nothing to do. Of course we do thats what Eph 2:10 is all about. Sola Fide is a reference to the act or process of being saved/born again. God does 100% of that. We can't work for our salvation and we can't work to keep it. You yourself said you reject Sola Fide. If you reject it that means you are working however much, for your salvation. And your ccc says this in multiple places;
    CCC 2010 Moved by the Holy Spirit and by charity, *we can then merit for ourselves and for others the graces needed for our sanctification, for the increase of grace and charity, and for the attainment of eternal life.*
    Unam Sanctum says submission to the Roman Pontiff is necessary for salvation
    The ccc again says sacraments are necessary for salvation.
    980 It is through the sacrament of Penance that the baptized can be reconciled with God and with the Church:
    Penance has rightly been called by the holy Fathers "a laborious kind of baptism." This sacrament of Penance is necessary for salvation for those who have fallen after Baptism, just as Baptism is necessary for salvation for those who have not yet been reborn.
    1129 The Church affirms that for believers the sacraments of the New Covenant are necessary for salvation.
    In 1475 you are expiating your sins in purgatory. Expiation is part of the definition of propitiation. In Rom 3:25 Jesus is our propitiation. This is a reference to atonement. In 1459 it says the same thing regarding penance.
    Sorry to be longwinded but i thought a few things needed to be addressed.

    Sexual abuse also happens within protestantism. Some of these sects are small and information about them doesn't spread easily. In some of these sects, there's been extreme sexual abuse, pedophilia, underage marriages, as well as, adultery.
    Finally, homosexuality is not a lifestyle. The Catholic church just hasn't had the audacity to understand that two people of the same sex can be attracted to each other; however, if it were to delve deeper into the scriptures you would see many homosexual characters--David and Jonathan, Ruth and Naomi, Daniel and Ashpenaz, and the Ethiopian eunuch, just to name a few. Research Dr. John Boswell's books on the medieval church and how same-sex partners were respected and even married inside the church. Also, left out of this equation is the countless Catholic priests, as well as, non-catholic ministers, lay people, choir directors who are also gay but are looked up to because of their faith and contributions.

      Try reading the account of God's instructions on how to do the Passover, then go to John 6, then go to the account of the lAst Super to see what worship really looks like
