I may have made a bit of a mess

Today I am out alone digging an adit on the beach which the sea has filled in.
As you will see I make a fair bit of progress by removing washed in beach stone and release a lot of water, but also do make a fair amount of mess on the beach...I'm sure Mother Nature will sort that with the tide as usual.

Few years ago we were exploring a mine at a beach near Charlestown ( now sealed by a cliff fall) and one of the lads sat in a naturally formed "mud/goo" dam, causing the thing to blow. Err we ended up with a bright orange stream flowing out into the sea. For all the enviromentalists , the orange mess did dispappear in an hour.
