Great video! This was the first time I had actually seen what happened inside a MATHCOUNTS final competition (since i'm not that smart to get into finals) It looked like a blast! I only thought it was just a math competition and they addressed the winners and that was it. But I was proved wrong when I saw people cheering, dancing, and playing video games!? Man, I am really happy that you got to experience this. The video was edited well too and I really got to see what happened on your journey of becoming a math champion. Even though you didn't win, you still did an astounding job and I couldn't be more happier for you. I've been watching your videos and subscribed to your channel since 2020 (COVID time) when I tried doing the AMC 8 in 6th grade. I learned a lot of things and even though I got 8/25, I still learned so much. That really is the beauty in math, no? Whoops, getting of topic. Congratulations in being the top 15% and I hope to see you take on these big competitions in the future!

I cant download pdf the amc 8 and amc 10/12 books. There is no option for that. How to get the books
If you open the link (www.omegalearn.org/mastering-amc8) on a computer, the pdf viewer has a download button at top right corner. I have even put an arrow saying "Click here to download" on that page.
do you have tips to be more productive?
Just try to set small personal goals (example - finish this chapter by this week, etc), and make it a regular routine for practice. Just keep working towards your goals and you will do great.

Would you say your position at chapter determines how high you place at state?
No. It's how you perform on that given day. There are some who did great in chapter but messed up in state, while others who did great in state even though they just made the cutoff in chapter. Good Luck!
@@SohilRathi Thanks this really helped. I was very discouraged as I got seventh in my chapter because I missed 2 easy targets. Your video on preparation is also very helpful!
