“TITANIC” COMPLETE SCORE - AS HEARD IN THE FILM - WAS NEVER RELEASED, BECAUSE IT DOES NOT “EXIST”, AND NEVER “EXISTED” AS AN OFFICIALLY COMPOSED, CONDUCTED AND RECORDED MUSIC.
MOST OF “TITANIC” SCORE - IN ITS FILM VERSION - IS MADE OF CAMERON’S EDIT/CUTS/MIX UP OF SEVERAL TRACKS PREVIOUSLY COMPOSED AND RECORDED BY JAMES HORNER, BEFORE DEFINITIVE EDITING OF THE FILM.
TILL NOW, THE ONLY CHANCE TO HEAR THE COMPLETE FILM VERSION SCORE OF “TITANIC” WAS THE (WONDERFUL) LIVE CONCERT OF THE FILM. FOR EXACTLY 20 YEARS, FANS HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE COMPLETE SCORE WITH AS MUCH OBSTINATION AND PASSION THAN BROKE LOVETT DESPERATLY LOOKING FOR THE HEART OF THE OCEAN. AND LIKE OLD ROSE WHO SECRETLY KEPT IT WITH HER, SONY RECORDS PRECIOUSLY KEPT THE COMPLETE MATERIAL AND NEVER RELEASED IT. FORTUNATLY, THANKS TO OUR FAVORITE SCORE LABEL, “TITANIC” SCORE WON’T END UP IN THE ABYSS.
NOW, FOR THE FIRST TIME, ALL MATERIAL - (ALBUM VERSIONS, ALTERNATES, ADDITIONNALS AND SOURCE MUSICS, NECESSARY TO RECREATE THE FILM VERSION) - IS AVAILABLE & NEWLY RELEASED IN LA-LA LAND RECORD 2017 20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION (5000 UNITS LIMITED). TOTAL OF HORNER MUSIC IN FILM VERSION : 37 TRACKS / 1H40 DURATION
GOD, I miss James Horner! May he Rest In Peace, and he delivers the most beautiful score ever!
I really loved his masterpieces, it's so sad he passed away, we will really miss his job in the film industry. 💔
More fun facts --- Horner wrote a draft of "The Portrait," giving it the title, "Sketch," referring to it being an unpolished work, awaiting Cameron's approval. Cameron thought it was Horners' musical treatment of Jack's "sketch scene," of Rose, and accepted it at face value. Artistically, the simplistic piano-only sketch won out, instead of a lush orchestration, which Horner originally anticipated.
I always loved that anecdote. When you have that much talent and put in the work, you place yourself in the way of happy accidents like that.
Yes. I'm so glad Cameron went with this
Also if you listen, this is the piano instrumental of "My Heart Will Go On" :)
@@myladynaynay Actually a lot of the more romantic moments use musical notes from that song in slightly different ways
It works so well, Rose is nude and vulnerable in that moment, completely exposing herself to Jack and allowing him to capture the most intimate parts of her body, so having the music be more stripped down and bare was the right choice.
This song is actually played by Horner in the Piano only one time and Cameron loves it and put in the piano

Jack: just relax your face
Rose: that's right
Jack: no laughing
Rose: exhales deeply & continues to stare back at Jack.
One of the best film scores in history!
Credit to James Horner.❤
I wish the titanic was still here
Fun fact. James Horner walked into the room with James Cameron to show him the main centrepiece to base the soundtrack off of and Cameron loved it so much he wanted to put it in the movie
This scene makes me cry 😢
Fun fact: Those aren't Leo's hands. It's actually James Cameron drawing the picture of Rose
And also I think he drew her in a bikini and not full nude
Cameron, who is left-handed, had to draw the portrait with his right hand, as per the character of Jack (Leo). That's an ambidextrous TWO hemispheres of the brain!
Er spoiler alert!!
Fun fact: Youre a liar! Its leo
Dom Sumner it’s James Cameron’s hand you stupid idiot peanut brain. Go search on the google.

Fun Fact: The truth is, is that It actually IS JAMES CAMERON'S HANDS THAT DREW KATE WINSLET (ROSE) in this scene!
So serious.
That's what artists do.😂
"My heart was pounding the whole time. It was the most erotic moment of my life... up till then at least. "
I felt myself so sexy🤩

@@Bluemgwes Lewis: "So what happened next?"
Rose: "You mean did we 'do it'? Sorry to disappoint you Mr Bodine, but Jack was very professional."
Wow! The thumbnail is a reminder of the stunning woman that Kate Winslet was in the movie and to this day.
I love you Khadidja, there is no goodbye, there is only Love ❤️❤️❤️..

Sweet Jesus, this is really pretty.
On Sunday night the sky was bright with stars, and the first class dining
saloon glittered too.May Futrelle was traveling with her husband, Jacques, a
writer. She never forgot Sunday night’s dinner in the elegant saloon, when
many women wore the fine dresses they’d just purchased in Paris.
“It was a brilliant crowd. Jewels flashed from the gowns of the women,”
May said later. “And,oh, the dear women, how fondly they wore their latest
Parisian gowns! It was the first time that most of them had an opportunity
to display their newly acquired finery.”
It didn’t seem at all as if they were in the middle of the North Atlantic,
May reflected. Instead, she imagined herself in a magnificent New York City
hotel. And no wonder. The first class dining saloon could seat more than 550
people - it was the largest dining room on board any ship afloat at the
time, 113 feet long and reaching across the full width of the Titanic. The
walls and ceiling were a glowing white, the furniture oak, and the room
sparkled, thanks to the lights of more than 400 bulbs.Chairs at the 115
tables were adorned with pale green leather and had special pegs to help
keep them steady in high seas.
In those days, people dressed in formal dinner attire.Dinner started at
seven p.m. and was announced by a bugle call.Crystal and china adorned the
tables. “I remember at our table there was a great bunch of American
beauty roses,” May said. “We were all filled with the joy of living. . . .”
After dinner May stepped out on deck to take in the beauty of the
night. She didn’t stay long; it was much colder than she had expected. “There
was death chill in the air which sent a shudder through me and caused me
to hurry back into the cheer and warmth of the cabin. . . .”
REALLY PUT THE TIT IN TITANIC AMIRIGHT
Drawing amazingness
Meanwhile, science teacher Lawrence Beesley spent a peaceful Sunday afternoon in the second class library. It was a clear day, and people were excited about landing in New York on Wednesday, with calm weather all the
way. After dinner, Lawrence and about a hundred other passengers gathered around a piano in the second class dining saloon to sing hymns.Reverend Ernest Carter ,who organized the gathering, closed the evening by saying that this was “the first time that there have been hymns sung on this boat on a Sunday evening, but we trust and pray it won’t be the last.” It was after ten o’clock when they stopped to enjoy some biscuits and coffee. Then Lawrence headed to his cabin on D Deck (D56),to read in his bunk before going to sleep.
I'm going have a tribute to Titanic passengers who have died
I do that every year on the anniversary
Frankie Goldsmith went to church service that Sunday with his mother.
Afterward, they noticed that their traveling companion,Alfred Rush,
nicknamed “Alfie,” was wanted in the purser’s office.(On board ships, the
purser was a little like a hotel manager or clerk, who handled money and
supplies and kept the passengers’ accounts.)
Alfie found them again a short time later. With a wide grin, he held up a
six-penny piece. It was an unexpected refund:He’d paid more than needed
for his baggage.
“ ‘Look,Mrs.Goldsmith! I’ve got a birthday present!’” he cried excitedly.
“ ‘Frankie, I am sixteen-years old today. Look, I am wearing my long
trousers.’”
To Alfie, it was a milestone birthday:Wearing long trousers was a
symbol of being a man.

I wanna know which kind of piano is that *:*
Hard to say. Most likely a Steinway though
@@ryantimm9748 Yes, I think Is a Steinway...so typical of Horner
@@thepeppes92 I mean I’m not mad about it. Personally Steinways are my all time favorite. In my opinion there’s just nothing like a Steinway.
So there's no full version of this? That doesn't make sense 😢 wish they would release it so bad
If you have the full version, PLEASEE email it to me at gcandler@yahoo.com I absolutely love this song so much 😣😣😣❤❤

Mein Feld ist die Welt the film version is what I'm talking about
I reckon this is the recording of Horner playing it in its entity (watch?v=lOynAbeTAFo). In the movie they used the same version but it's another recording (or it's the editing by Cameron, I can't tell). I agree though. This recording right here is better, but as this already is the original one from the film, released in 2017's La-La-Land extended version, I don't think we'll ever get the original film version in its completeness (more than these 1:58). As unfortunate as it is...
Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff this was in the film La La land? What is the track name called on the La La land soundtrack I can't find it
