honestly love that not only they added 2.0 but also decided to improve it to have more instruments, and even gave Sonic an new voice ( altho i think that's because of the original VA threatning the FNB team... )

A lot of people here seem to be misinformed about this song's production, this is not a remaster done by the FNB devs, it uses the 2.0 version of prey by Armydillo and some other devs. The only difference is sonic's vocals, whose chromatic was made from Phantasma's voice, rather than Illuztriouz's
This version also uses more instruments
i wasn't really informed why the change was neccecary.

This new sonic voice is great, in the original sonic’s lines would devolve into mumbling and I could barely understand him with the effect on his voice.

this version makes sonic sound more like sonic imo
i like how in prey starved is seen as less scary and more just like robotnik, with the music sounding like boss music and sonic not even acting scared when seeing him just a bit concerned while in fight or flight starved is horrifying and so is the song. it shows the different pov's of sonic and tails towards robotnik/starved. sonic still sees him as robotnik so he treats starved the same way by being cocky, while tails see's starved as who he really is, a monster. and tails desperately try's not to freak out. that just shows EXPERT design in those 2 songs and why their my favorite songs in the mod

Starved has a lot more demented of a laugh in this Mix, it really shows how far he's gone over the edge in his craze for Mobians.

If you aren’t aware, this is the original prey version 2 with only one change as far as I can tell, which is sonic’s vocal change. Other than that, I don’t hear any other differences. Pretty much nothing changed in the song.

People this song was made by Armydillo just check the description, this wasn't made by the bloxxin team. Only the vocals were prob worked on by bloxxin team, and although they made a good effort, imo i think the og vocals are better.
