This is a beautiful home. I’d use the extra space over the garage as a movie theatre or studio apartment for my oldest kids to share. If possible, I’d enclose the walkway from the house to the garage as an indoor part of the home that blends in with the rest of the home so that everyone can walk to that area freely. I’d keep the garage door in place as an outer door that can stay locked until needed. The door to the bonus space would become a regular bedroom door. The walkway/hallway would come in handy when it’s extra cold or hot outside, and in the rain and snow! Also, I could see that space as an office, an art/music/editing studio, a studio apartment, a library, a homeschool classroom, an in-law suite, a game room, a bowling alley, or any number of other things! We’re only limited by what our imaginations can come up with. Thank you for doing this work! You are a big help to some of us who are looking for beautiful homes but can’t always make the trek to look through all of the available options! Timothy, maybe you can do a series about all of the different home builders in a certain city and what their offering, as shown in part by their model homes! Exactly what I was thinking, enclose the breezeway. Right now we are having a blizzard with 40 to 60 mph winds. I'd not want to be walking in and out through that.
I really like this floor plan! It seemed a little tight between the oven doors and refrigerator but a great kitchen overall. Needs a fireplace in the living area, even if it is only a electrical one. The area above the garage is so versatile…guest suite, kids/teens hideaway or maybe an ADU…definitely would add a kitchenette to the area.
Agree on the kitchen. That fridge and oven around the corner are horrible. You will constantly be stepping around the refrigerator door to set things on the counter and go back for more. The oven will be fun with a heavy hot item in your hands while running around the corner to find a spot to land. Beautiful house. Deal breaker kitchen design. 🤔
Always love seeing a Schumacher he, they are my favorite!! I would use the bonus room as a hang out spot for my son and his friends, put a couple of tvs and hook up his game systems, keep it stocked with snacks and waters, sodas and Arizona iced teas, they love those things! Let them game as long, and loud, as they want!
Lol unfortunately we’ve toured almost all of them so it’s just a waiting game until The expand or we can talk buyers into letting us tour their homes… which might be a fun idea too
This is a gorgeous home with some great design choices. I wish the builders would provide us with paint colors used.. we’re building a new home and knowing those colors would be most helpful in these videos.
This is my new favorite. To start with I absolutely love the exterior aesthetic. It manages to be simply beautiful, exuding confidence and security without being over-the-top and show-y. If this home were a person it would be a person of few words yet when they spoke you'd hang on every word. When in trouble you'd seek its sage advise. This feeling continues with the tall ceilings, expansive wall of windows and gracious room proportions. Someone who doesn't "toot their own horn", they don't need to, they know who they are. Another aspect of this home that appeals to me is that this home feels defensible. I'm a young-ish widow and as beautiful as some of these homes are, the huge ones kinda freak me out when I imagine living in them. I could be asleep in the master and some crazy person could break a window in the laundry room (hell, use a jackhammer to get in with some of them) and I'd probably never hear it. Anyway, then there's the detached garage/airbnb/son's dog bakery fails apartment. I love everything about it!
I would definitely put a kicthenet and a closet in the loft above the garage. I would also find a way to inlarge or add a closet in the bed room with the two twins size beds. Nice house.

This is a beautiful house. The only thing I wouldn't like is going outside to the garage but than I live in windy Wyoming so I'm sure that makes a big difference.😊

What a gorgeous home! Modern, yet homey. I like the combination island/table to prep or eat at. The pantry is wonderful. The only thing I would like to see is a laundry chute, especially for the master bedroom. I would also probably turn the t.v. room into an office. Really appreciate the breezeway walkway to the garage. This house is one of the best I have seen so far.
Beautiful home. The interior design team did a fantastic job throughout with the colors. and 20 ft. Ceilings are a definite must have. I’ve seen more and more of the spaces above the garage and I would definitely use mine as an artists loft. ❤😊

Great home, and really nice tour Tim. I like the layout of the house, but I would want the interior design less modern and more rustic features. The room above the garage is a great space. I would add a little more in terms of a kitchenette. It would be a nice space for company.
One of my favorite homes that you’ve shown. I’d put my eldest son in the in law suite but would not give him a kitchenette to make a mess in 😂😂. Beautiful home with some great design elements
LOVE, LOVE,LOVE this home! The room off the master suite would be an office, I would definitely put a kitchenette in the studio above the garage and use as possible rental income, or a place for the teenager who wants to be on their own but isn’t quite ready to break off from mom and dad. Now you know how many changes I like making in your home tours, I seriously wouldn’t do anything other then the two I mentioned, and those aren’t really changes!!!

Love the house. The only thing I would change is the location of the ovens. I’d rather have a traditional single stovetop/oven. Love everything else. I would turn the loft into a movie theater. Add a refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. Maybe even a washer/dryer combo. Maybe a couple comfortable futons in case you need an extra guestroom. The whole house has a really comfortable look. I’d probably turn the gym into an owner’s retreat. The whole house looked comfortable and had a home feel to it.

above the garage you could use it as an apartment,what you called a wet bar could be the kitchenette👍as for the rest of the house its gorgeous only changes are cosmetic🥰
How is that a wraparound porch? A wraparound porch goes around the house. It has a large front porch, but certainly not a wrap-around. How is it a "rustic" scene, when the style is modern/contemporary? What really is nice is the kitchen layout and its relationship to the dining room. Very nice mudroom/laundry room arrangement with the powder room. It's a very livable arrangement. Love the accent wall in the master bedroom. Wouldn't it be interesting if it were wood? That upstairs sitting area on the landing would make a nice game room. You are right. Adding a kitchenette would make a great mother-in-law suite or rental space for the area over the garage.

The loft is a great design it can be used as a guest space or for older parents (though it is upstairs) or the best thing to do is rent it out to help pay the mortgage,bills or ad extra cash
Lately you’ve been crushing it with these homes! This home is one that if I bought it, I would request to purchase the design furniture with it! Normally I would not choose a gray color palette theme for the walls , floor etc., but I really see popping the Master bedroom with soft cool pastel bedding. The gym in the Master suite was a nice touch, perfect for a yoga/barre studio flex option.😎The area where the ovens are is a very clever use of space, really nice. Upstairs, I would not change a thing to the decor. And for the In-Law suite over the Garage, I would provide a mini, Japanese style kitchen there. There’s more than enough room for that. 😎Thanks again, Mr. Livingston, for presenting another beautiful home…. Keep them coming!😎😎😎
I love this model, especially that the island doesn't have a sink / faucet breaking it up - that's a huge pet peeve of mine, and is more common than not.

OHHHH 100 percent GAMES ROOM over the garage ! Pool table . shuffle board ....ETC !!! Keep all the noise and mess *(if any ) in the games room because the first floor is all open concept . You would want to keep the house clean but have a fun spot over the garage to play and a pull out bed for company . Inside I just don't know how you can enjoy a nice dinner in the dinning room looking over at all the dirty pots and pans ?? The front room needed a fireplace .

Love this home!! Nice kitchen but oven placement is a bit awkward but I could deal with it. The area above the garage will be my hubbs man cave. Love the outside of this home and I'd close or screen in the breezeway. Probably screen it and put some plants and hanging plants in it. I could make it so pretty. Really love this home!!! I like th8s ine a lot. I also like the closet doors. I tend to pay attention to those in tours. When we moved into our home, it was about 5 years old. The kids were super excited to explore it and claim bedrooms. The 3 kid rooms and the hall closet all had bifold doors. Our old home had regular doors that went into walk-in closets. Now, I must admit that I didn't personally see what transpired next. I just have the accounts of the kids to go by. NOW, over 20 years later, I picture them opening and closing the doors quickly and repeatedly. But HOW it happened matters very little. What DID happen was the doors ALL ended up falling off at some point and my little ones were hit in the head. They were 2, 4 yo twins, 6 & 9. And I wasn't amused by my babies being hurt. The doors are STILL in my garage and none of my closets have doots... just curtains.

I love this model, especially that the island doesn't have a sink / faucet breaking it up - that's a huge pet peeve of mine, and is more common than not.

OHHHH 100 percent GAMES ROOM over the garage ! Pool table . shuffle board ....ETC !!! Keep all the noise and mess *(if any ) in the games room because the first floor is all open concept . You would want to keep the house clean but have a fun spot over the garage to play and a pull out bed for company . Inside I just don't know how you can enjoy a nice dinner in the dinning room looking over at all the dirty pots and pans ?? The front room needed a fireplace .

Love this home!! Nice kitchen but oven placement is a bit awkward but I could deal with it. The area above the garage will be my hubbs man cave. Love the outside of this home and I'd close or screen in the breezeway. Probably screen it and put some plants and hanging plants in it. I could make it so pretty.

I like th8s ine a lot. I also like the closet doors. I tend to pay attention to those in tours. When we moved into our home, it was about 5 years old. The kids were super excited to explore it and claim bedrooms. The 3 kid rooms and the hall closet all had bifold doors. Our old home had regular doors that went into walk-in closets. Now, I must admit that I didn't personally see what transpired next. I just have the accounts of the kids to go by. NOW, over 20 years later, I picture them opening and closing the doors quickly and repeatedly. But HOW it happened matters very little. What DID happen was the doors ALL ended up falling off at some point and my little ones were hit in the head. They were 2, 4 yo twins, 6 & 9. And I wasn't amused by my babies being hurt. The doors are STILL in my garage and none of my closets have doots... just curtains.
