Robert Plant wrote this after they had toured Iceland- it was a homage to their hosts Viking heritage.
I think this was filmed at a football stadium in Australia, maybe Sydney. The song is about the Viking invasion of the British Isles, and the singer, Robert Plant was famous for wearing the top of a groupie from the previous night. So his shirts were all flowery and were too small for him.
We knew how to have a good time back then. Miss those days.

The song was used in at least these movies/TV shows: "Thor: Ragnarok", "Shrek the Third", "Life On Mars", "School of Rock". Maybe more that I've forgotten about.
It's about the Viking invasions of foreign lands. The verse, “How soft your fields so green, can whisper tales of gore, of how we calmed the tides of war, we are your overlords” suggest triumph and dominance, "fields of green" likely referring to the British Isles. Historically, Vikings started invading the islands around the 8th century CE.

Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? The Immigrant song: The Vikings were Scandinavians . Denmark, Norway, Sweden. And their coming wasn't peaceful in the least. They were brutal warriors, and they HATED Christianity, which is one of the reasons they were so hard on everyone else. They believed they had abandoned the Old Gods...which had been part of Europe since a time no one can remember.

Yeah I can tell you from personal experience that guitarist ain't no joke. He got some Dogs, which for fans of anagrams could be made into Gods. He got them both simultaneously at the same moment in time.
I def love their studio take vs the live. You get to better hear Bonzo's(bonham)drumming & Plants shreik vocals and ya...It's better captured in their Studio album.....but hope you both are doing well :)
