Each note you played could have been a potential hit on the boss. You also picked the worst times to actually go in for a hit. Also, a giant feather GS? Where's that english patch dangit.
Thought hunting horns provide buffs, hang back... 20% damage (with that many players) or other buff to all your team that more than compensates for damage you could do alone with a GS. I'm from the normal monster hunter game not this MMO.
I'll bite. Look up the stats on your favorite HH. Why are you not taking that near hammer damage to the enemy face? Being able to provide buffs doesn't mean you hang back. You beat that ass WHILE providing the buffs. Hopefully getting a knockout. If you aren't getting in hits standing a mile away negates the fact that you provide damage buffs. That's why your character swings the weapon to make notes instead of standing there like you're playing an ocarina.
Ah yeah forgot to mention that you needed to hit to play notes (Thanks for pointing that out), I just never see any HH (Also don't have a fav HH, never played the thing) players get anywhere near as aggressive as CB players.

I hope the next Game after Rise is an MMO like how Blizzard did to Warcraft and Square with FFXIV. For I wish that the big bads like Lao Shan, Shen Gaoren, Zorah Magdaros, Dalamadur and even Xeno/Safi to be raids. Ranging from Normal difficulty allowing 16 hunters and reducing the hunter count by 4 each difficult scales up. Making the raids much more difficult due to having less hunters.
Does MH Online allow for more than 4 players for all fights or just sieges like Shen and Lao? I ask cause this is the first clip of MH Online I've ever seen

This is Tencent's doing, not Capcom's. It is basically about Free2play MMOs which are developed for China. This might be the reason why this is China only.

Hey dude i have a problem. i just started to play with eng patch my proble is anytime i start a quest. i have to wait that some one joins before i can enter the quest. what i have to do . to solo player with out be forced to wait for 1 other play everysingle quest-
Seems there will be a huge skill cap between MMO and Main Series players, the MMO games are always too player advantage biased. Anyways, I don't know the organization you had for that quest but seems you're playing a full support role there, however, you were still hit an unhealthy amount of times.
The worst thing about this game is you can only do about 10 quests a day and it just doesnt feel like monster hunter. It feels cheap and tacky, the graphics are amazing though.
Unrelated side note, the easiest way to get zenny in this game is by clearing the kitty-cat quests at the beach then exchanging cat coins for whit herbs and sell them for 3000 - 5000 zenny each run.
... and you need 8 as a minimum requirement. An overhead of 4 is not bad. The only downside of this is that if 4 scrubs pass away, the difficulty is determined by 12 hunters.

It's machine translated text but it's much less tedious than using OCR to translate things you don't understand.
