    Thank you for video. I have learned lot from it Sir, i am working on HEMT. Can you please mention what are meshing values range for material interface. You have mentioned denser meshing is need.

    • @HabibAhmadGatech
      @HabibAhmadGatech  8 дней назад

      It depends on the device structure and the films thicknesses. For this structure, the meshing details are given in the code.

    I have recently started working on modeling HEMTs and I really appreciate your efforts in helping students. Your videos have helped me understand the critical concepts of HEMTs and also steps on how to model them. Can you share your email address as I would like to learn more from you. Thank you.

      Hi Bilal,
      Thank you so much for your kind words and support! I'm thrilled to hear that my videos have been helpful in your work with HEMTs. Unfortunately, I am unable to share my email address due to my very busy schedule recently. However, please feel free to leave any questions you have in the comments, and I'll do my best to address them when I can.

    hi sir , your lectures are highly informative and helpful . Thanks for the effort . I have a doubt as i am new to silvaco , i would be grateful for your response . my ques :difference between "lat.temp" and "model temp" command in silvaco???

    • @HabibAhmadGatech
      @HabibAhmadGatech  29 дней назад

      lat.temp sets the physical temperature of the lattice, while model temp sets the evaluation temperature for the material models.
      Impact on Simulation: Changing lat.temp affects phonon interactions and heat generation. Changing model temp affects how the software evaluates temperature-dependent models like mobility and recombination.
      Typical Usage: Use lat.temp when simulating devices under actual thermal conditions (e.g., heating effects). Use model temp to study the effect of temperature on device behavior without changing the actual thermal environment.
      Understanding the distinction is crucial for accurately modeling thermal effects in devices, especially in cases where the lattice and model temperatures might differ due to external thermal conditions or specific simulation scenarios.

    I want a structure like this
    3nm GaN followed by 50nm graded AlgaN al composition changing from 0.16 to 0.25
    Then 10nm AlGaN Al = 0.25 . I tried Grad.n command but not getting the structure

    Sir when I add lat.temp model then simulator shows "Warning: Not A Numbers found in currents.
    Simulator did not converge". What is the reason for showing this problem? . while without lat.temp model simulator converge it and i get current.
