I learned to ride when I was 17, because we just didn't had the money for a bike. I managed by myself and it was the best thing ever when I could ride to town and back :)
I’m 27 and I still don’t know how to ride a bike, it’s not that I’m scared or anything, it’s just never occurred to me to ride a bike, & I’ve never found interest in it. One day I’ll learn tho
Steve kills me every time.....I'm 63 yrs. Old.....haven't rode a bike in over 40 yrs....love Steve's idea on learning how, just might give it a try. Thanks, Steve !
@@caligames2507 That's how my brothers used to teach me how to swim when I was like 9 years old. They threw me in a deep lake and said SWIM. And just like that I was able to swim
When I was a child, a friend of mine hurt herself with her bike , she was bleeding so bad around her ankle. She rode with one leg all the way home. I was traumatized and I never got on a bike from that day on. It’s been over 20 years and now that the trauma is gone, this video is an inspiration.
I watched this at least ten times 🤣🤣🤣 Steve always knows how to make me forget about any time the world is really pressin me and I just laugh and forget.
This hit home and made me cry. Because I taught MYSELF how to ride a bicycle. My dad was sleeping for a night shift and my mom only got mad and yelled at me when she would hear me cry out of frustration. But I learned to do it!
Steve is a great Dad (teacher)! My Father's method was to get some old used piece of junk that barely worked (I guess he figured I'd wreck a new one), stick rickety training wheels on it, have me get on it and give me a good shove off! That was it! Steve Harvey is just such a wonderful man, and his talents are endless.
I was eating an apple when he said ''Tracenda''....let me tell you this, half of that darn apple was on my monitor, dripping down by the time he said Miss Colombia 😂😂. I thanked the heavens above, I didn't choke.
Well I’ll be damned..He’s actually right. There are “balance bikes” made for toddlers where there are no pedals to teach balance on the bike until they can graduate to a traditional bike. I’m impressed
This is so poignant. My father taught me how to ride a bike. I was really terrified of falling and breaking a bone so this process took an extra long time for me. My Dad had to even purchase me a scooter first.
I have NEVER learnt how to ride a bike because my parents bought refused to buy me one because I got 13th position in my school report and my siblings got 1-3rd position....safe to say I am scared for life 😞😞
@Bulbulaya AH Well, now you know how to start. Believe it or not, that's how the first bicycles were used. No pedals, no sprockets or chains. Just a seat on a frame and 2 wheels.
I was NOT allowed to ride a bike, roller skate, ice skate - told it was too dangerous. For several months, I tried as an adult to ride a bike. I wished there were training wheels on that bike, I fell so often and really hurt myself. Finally, I gave up. Sadness. But I made certain each of my children could ride a bike, could skate.
That was awesome. Much easier than training wheels. She will be Petaling in no time. You are an amazing Teacher. I was 5 yrs old when I learned. I took a few weeks. This is a great way. Fear if talking is there. I fe some as a kid after I knew. I skiied too as a kid. It took a long while to learn to stop , & not fall to stop. It took a while to do the snow plow. You are so gentle & helpful, Steve. Mr. Harvey. Thank You for sharing about the stuttering too. I met people who did. A good teacher is what people need. The hardest part is when I parents or adults play mind games instead of just being open, honest. My aunt had an attitude. My sister & I never figured it out why. We lived our aunt anyway. Why be so difficult. Just teach boundaries instead if treating people badly. We hat d spankings & detested being hit. So we never got kids. There are other ways to discipline. Relationships with people we date are good. Relationships not having to do with dating is good & helpful too. Just getting along. Bring peaceful. Setting up boundaries so feelings do not have to get hurt so much that people act out. My sister got treated so badly that she acted out too much & still does it to this day at times. She us an educator, now a dean. I never played tricks on her. She still acted out. People need understanding,. Not harsh judgement or killed like George Floyd. It should never come to that. Blacks deserve better. All people deserve to be treated right. Teach what is right & wrong. Never kill. I do not own a gun. I do not like guns. Some feel they need them for protection. Blacks deserve to be taught to care, not to harm. Many do not have a role model. My sister did not have a good time model. Maybe m died when she was 5. I was 14. We needed counseling do we could grieve properly. Thank You for your time, patience. You are funny, giving, understanding. Your audience all seem to adore you. That is saying something. Blessings to you & your family, & friends , Steve. Marcy
Not really. I'm 19 and still can't ride just because my mom was a single mom all my life and I never had any male figures to teach me. So I believe her.
He really gave her a whole new name 😂😂
The way he turns an awkward situation into something so hilarious. The way he just laughs it off and still gives her the bike 😂
It belonged to one of his staff members in the office--I bet she didn't think out was so funny.
