Love it..if you have rebuilt a pinball machine to this level you laugh at some of the stuff you did before you knew how to do it properly!! I can relate! Merry Christmas!

I’ve been in this hobby a long time and I learned the lesson a long time ago that you just learned. When you try to go cheap it bites you in the ass. You try to reuse the original playfield to save money. But getting the new play field is ALWAYS the way to go.
Plus if you’re anything like me, Time is money. Time is the one thing we don’t have enough of. If you add up all of the man hours that you spent redoing the playfield it’s all time wasted. It’s better to pony up the cash and just get the replacement play field right off the bat

I don't see it as a complete waste. I see it as a learning experience. If my errors can teach others on what not to do either - that is another bonus.

Easy you could’ve done it. put in the clear inserts sand the playfield put in a hardtop and done. Or just try to get a custom order from micro with clear inserts if they do custom orders

ALWAYS do a mist coat first and ALWAYS wait at least 48 hours for it to fully cure.

Well I guess after all that hassle you're going to end up with a really beautiful machine since you ended up buying that new Playfield the man does that suck all that work and time lost!

@@CaryHardy Hahaha... those parts orders really kill the wallet :-( I got you beat I'm hoping to start on my new shop project soon! I'm so tired of having all my stuff in storage it's been over a year and a half since I've been able to enjoy any of my pinball video games or jukeboxes! Once it's done it'll be the coolest thing ever to be able to actually enjoy my stuff finally.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
