I have a sectional couch ,is there a specific area it should be in ,my choices are 2 corners ,the west and south , I have heard you should see the door way while sitting, can you please give some advice ,
I previously had a photo of my kids above the fireplace. The morning I removed it on realisation it was there, my kids shared the last breakfast muffin willingly whereas in the past they would have fought over who was going to have it!!x
Thanks for your videos! I’m new to fend shui. How about a cabinet with a fake fireplace. Mine has a heater I do not use . It also has a fake multicolor colored flame effect. Any thoughts on if it counts as the fire element. It’s in my earth area.
Hi @MagicandMantra You’re so welcome, and I’m so happy you’re diving into Feng Shui! 🌸✨ It’s such a wonderful way to transform your space and your life. Now, let’s talk about that **fake fireplace**! 🔥😊 In Feng Shui, we love to use the **fire element** to bring in energy that’s vibrant, passionate, and full of life. While real fire (like candles or a working fireplace) has the strongest fire energy, your **fake fireplace with the flame effect** can still carry some of that energetic vibe-especially if the flame is visible. 🔥✨ The key is the intention behind it, and the visual effect of the "flames" does add a touch of fire energy to the room. So yes, it can count as the **fire element**, even if it’s not real fire. Since your fake fireplace is in the **earth area** of your home, that’s important to keep in mind. **Earth energy** is all about grounding, stability, and support, and it actually **nurtures and balances fire** in the Feng Shui cycle. 🌿🪨 So having a bit of fire in your earth area can be a positive thing, as long as it’s not overpowering the earth energy. Here’s what I’d recommend: 1. **Balance the fire with earth**: Since it’s in your earth area, make sure you have **plenty of grounding elements** around it, like **earthy tones (beige, soft yellows)** or materials like **ceramics, stones**, or **crystals** to keep the earth energy strong and grounded. 🪨🌸 2. **Use the fire intentionally**: Even though you’re not using the heater, the flame effect can still be a lovely symbol of warmth and passion. Just be mindful not to have too much fire element in your earth area. If the flame feels too intense, keep it off, or use it sparingly to avoid "burning out" the grounding energy of the earth. It’s all about balance, and it sounds like you’re already being super thoughtful about your space! 🌟 You can definitely count the fireplace as a fire element, just keep it in harmony with that lovely **earth energy**. 😊💖
Hi Patricia, I spend all my relaxing time in my family room. My living room is not lived in since the children have grown up. Should I apply this to both the family room and living room? Thank you
Your socks match your sweater - adorbs! You did not talk about how the coffee table is a Feng Shui cure. Was that intentional? Also, the lighting was dark and hard to see the family corner. Finally, would have loved to see the rest of the room to see how it aligns with the other things.
Thank you for watching and for your comment! The coffee table is made of metal which is one of the Feng Shui elements, and is one of the remedies I need to balance the energies in my living room. I'm sorry the Family area looked dark, I'll have a look at that for the future, and keep your eye on the channel, we may look at the rest of the room at another time.
If the fireplace has such a huge impact on the images placed on the mantle??? Does that mean that every item and fitting in our home has a ‘Feng shui’ impact on the residents?
Absolutely, you can put pictures in your butler pantry! 😊🌿 In Feng Shui, **every space** in your home matters-including the smaller or less frequently used areas like a butler pantry. Adding pictures or artwork to this space can help create a flow of positive energy and make it feel more inviting and vibrant. ✨ The key is to be mindful of the **intention** behind the artwork you choose. Here’s what I’d recommend: 1. **Choose uplifting images**: Since the pantry is often associated with **nourishment and abundance**, it’s great to select images that make you feel happy, inspired, or connected to abundance-like pictures of food, nature, or something that feels joyful to you. 🌸🍇 2. **Balance and harmony**: The butler pantry is a functional space, so you want to ensure that the energy is smooth and balanced. Avoid overly chaotic or busy images, and instead go for something that creates a feeling of **peace and flow**. 🌿✨ 3. **Keep it light**: If the pantry tends to be a smaller or darker area, you can use **light colors** or **bright images** to bring a sense of openness and fresh energy. 🌸💫 By adding thoughtful pictures, you’ll not only enhance the pantry’s energy, but you’ll also infuse it with your personal style, making even this functional space feel connected to the flow of abundance in your home. 🌿💖 Hope this helps you bring even more positive energy into every corner of your space! 😊✨
Thanks for watching! What changes are you going to implement to improve the flow of energy in your living room?

@minookalantari, thank you for watching! 🥰
Does this apply to a radiator heater too?
Hi Susan - no, it's fine for pictures to be above a radiator as it doesn't have the flames so doesn't have the same energy.
Love this!! Such a lot of useful information!!
Thank you so much, Lucy

Just place it in the most logical space for the room it's going in. Don't overthink it. :)
Loved this thanks Patricia!
Thank you so much, Mischa!
