i suggest doing it underneath all your hair instead of by the hairline. it won’t stick up at the top like hers does and i find that it lasts longer

You don't have to leave the colour to criss Cross out just criss up and then Cross going down and then no gaps.

you just remove the elastic (cut it out if needed) and keep pulling on the string until it unravels all the way.
