Hi Eric! I have one question. I have arkenfox on my Firefox, would using one of these custom CSS Themes affect the privacy.resistFingerprinting.letterboxing in the user.js coding?
I've lately fallen in love with the Frutiger Aero aesthetic, and I heard that Firefox is more customizable than Chrome, so I'm considering maybe downloading Firefox and playing around with the themes to make a browser that looks like old Internet Explorer (I found one user skin that changes the the titlebar buttons to look more like in Windows 7), and maybe I can figure out how to change the tab shape and color to have that glassy look. Thank you for the video!
I have a MacBook at work, so I have to use Safari because other browsers overheat the laptop. I got to really LOVE Safari's single bar layout, where the address bar is merged into the currently selected tab. I mean, I already have to deal with the system menu and website bars, there is just no more vertical space to waste. I didn't realize it was possible to have a single bar layout in Firefox too! I should definitely check it out.
Hey, I was looking for some good Browsers and I found your channel and I like it Keep Going! ^^ I personally use Librewolf and Brave but should I switch? Which is your best/fav browser? Which browser has the best privacy/ Security and features? Is it brave or rather Librewolf or a hardened Firefox? Best luck Adrian
Thanks for the kind words! I have a video ranking my favorite web browsers here: ruclips.net/video/j5r6jFE8gic/видео.html But I think hardened Firefox, Librewolf, and Brave are all great options. I don't think there's any "best" web browser. All of those web browsers are good on the privacy, security, and features, it's just about which one you prefer more. Personally, I currently use hardened Firefox as it's my favorite, but it's up to you.
It could be a big advantage among browsers if Firefox could change the UI directly from the settings, how can you change the themes currently. Why won't Mozzilla do it? It's not that hard. Just clone the functionality of already existing themes and create a server to host all these designs.
I'm surprised they don't do this. There are basically no options to change away from the default style, other than a pretty tame compact option. The only thing I want to do is get rid of the stupid drab folders like in the bookmark side bar and maybe put some color in the scroll bars to make them easier to see. This isn't just Firefox but it's like the entire computer industry no longer has any color. When TV's, movies and photos where first developed they scrambled to invent color versions because people and the world see color as a way to distinguish between and we use it to help reduce depression. It seems like all of the programmers and developers must be in a state of depression all of the time. Winter time north of the Mason Dixon line is cold, grey and drab like computer programs these days but when spring comes and colors return life is much less depressing. If what I just wrote isn't factual and people really don't care about color then why have scientists been developing glasses to bring color sight to color blind people? Why do we people spend all kinds of money developing color paints and painting cars, boats and other things with colors? Why not just make all of the videos on You Tube black and white? Computer programs are becoming like the proverbial picture of a polar bear in a snow storm on white paper with the white and light grey.
