One question: how did you manage to "connect" all these concepts you've learned through tutorials? Whenever I'm learning coding concepts in "isolation" like here on the internet or at college, I'm having issues applying it in a practical way on real world projects. I feel I'm lacking that "practical experience" and so all this theory seems too abstract to understand if I don't use it. How did you manage to bridge that gap between theory and practice? Do you have any suggestions?
I took this course on Microsoft visual academy several years ago. One of the best courses online. Thank you, Mr. Tabor. I only wish Microsoft and Mr. Tabor make a more advance level tutorial.
@Newycoder Sorry it took so long to reply ... there's no easy way to get notifications when it's not my channel. You likely have already decided on what you'll do. But just in case ... you can do both at the same time -- learning the Unity way / Unity UI / Unity concepts AND programming. Tiny projects will drive your need to understand more and more C#, and you can kind of just go back and forth. I think that's probably more sustainable than a singular focus on Unity UI **OR** C# exclusively for a prolonged time. Unity is a whole other animal. I tried to learn its concepts and UI but ultimately grew bored with lack of progress and moved on to something else. It helps if you have a small community of folks who are learning together and learning from each other. Good luck!!!
