Cubby, cubby cubby, most people don’t realize that it actually takes diamonds to craft the ones that have the trail. I bet you that if scar understood you weren’t just saying they were expensive because you wanted to charge a lot for them, but they actually took diamonds in the recipe per firework, he would have paid you full price. I know it’s not about the diamonds, but you also want to be able to keep producing them for people, right?
Scar gets all the breaks...but won't pay for them.
Cub, ask Scar, "Scar, which part of 'will pay anything' was a mistake?"

I mean, he did say outright each firework cost 2 diamonds to make each. I think Cub would rather get the ball rolling and build up some good will for the shop while it's still so new
Lol did you see Cubs diamond shulker box? The man's not hurting and never will be... honestly imo the lowest price for anything in the shopping district should be for 1 Diamond BLOCK. The recent handful of updates have drastically increased the diamond spawn rates and made them far easier to find via caving... everyone is sitting on stacks and stacks of diamonds, or could be very easily with an hour or 2 of mining, and yet sell everything absolutely dirt cheap.
Scar: wow that’s so expensive I’ll never be able to pay all that.
Also Scar: has DOUBLE CHESTS OF DIAMOND ORE
In Scars defense those are meant to be decorative blocks for Ore Mountain 🤣

The premium fireworks is actually a way to get diamonds out of circulation which somewhat combats the inflation of the Hermitcraft economy. There isn't much that consumes diamonds the way the game works atm.

67 Rockets at a 7 Diamond : 3 Rocket conversion

Hermits using more horses and fireworks this season makes this season more fresh and interesting.
Watching the sun set as Scar attempts to calculate and settle his bill was something else.
I love seeing the other hermits typing in the on screen chat. Its like a little hint to overlapping episodes

Cub's skin looks like he's played Holi (holi is a Hindu festival of colours in this festival we throw colours at each other)

Give Scar a tour of the Fireworks factory (after removing any and all buttons, switches, etc. and putting a temporary "Scar Safe" switch in your inventory to place for demonstrations) and show him that the Velocité ammunition literally requires diamonds for crafting it; that'll show him why they are so expensive.
Cub just casually pulls out a ConCorp level of diamonds in episode 12😭
ConCorp this season would have 10 double chests of shulker boxes full of diamond blocks by the end of it, wow!!!

Hey cub, I was thinking, if enough hermits buy fireworks, you can have like weekly or monthly merchandise. Some special fireworks that only appear sometimes in the shop.

I never played with fireworks before now, only the duration 1 flight rockets; but since you got the factory going and all that, I can't get enough of them! This is awesome :)

Love the door, and the new skin! The part of doing the color lines for the outside of the factory was very satisfying too!!!
Perhaps you can make a special "you got mail" fireworks bundle so you can sell more and make getting mail "more special and noticable". Perhaps get a special arrangement with Pearl that the hermits get a bundle of fireworks and stamps together
You should convince Scar to fly exclusively with explosive fireworks.
Reasons:

Can confirm, Cub absolutely lost diamonds on the deal. Just one stack of those fireworks takes 149.33... diamonds to make, plus the 5 extra he made for demonstration purposes brings it to 161 diamonds.

I think i finally found a phrase that encapsulates why i like Cubs videos / play-style so much. Chaotic META.
My husband walked in while you were showing the time-lapse of the factory and asked if you were building a bar graph which has given my home educated kids a really good idea for a maths project (making different builds showing Minecraft statistics) so that’s my maths planning covered for next week! Holy Shit! First of all the firework formulations are insane! I never knew how varied and complicated the recipes were ...no wonder you're wearing a lab coat.
That door design is fantastic (and also way over my head). I'm still playing on 1.19, with Create, and haven't had a chance to try the new blocks.
But overall, Cub, you are doing amazing things!!
Man, those fireworks are so cool! And.. VERY expensive! love the skin, you look like a proper mad scientist in a lab of whimsy haha looks like you actually do test those fireworks on yourself, now.

*Quality of Life updates* are what Mojang should be working on. REACH buff for beacons. All craftable block types for concrete (not powder, obviously). Ability to sit would be lovely! Bundles fully implemented. I know there a soooo many others but a Reach buff would be incredibly simple and useful with Jump buff.

That concrete powder drop was so satisfying to watch.
A really great conclusion to that concrete powder timelapse would have been a bunch of dispensers spitting out some water around the whole building at once.

Cub, an idea for the entryway to the rocket factory: a giant landing pad outside connected 1/2 way up kind of Princess Amidala balcony style that has a walkway which shoots fireworks when you land on the carpet/walk in on the runway. 🤩
CUB I love the new door! I don't know if it's possible but you should explore delaying the opening of the second set of doors say they open at the final stage of the first door going into the ground. Might look cleaner
