Just to clarify…this area is not considered downtown Calgary…it is the “belt line”, an area that circles around the downtown area. In saying that, it is a great area to live.

Nice place to live if you have enough money to pay the cost of living(mortgage or rent, food and heating and utilities, car insurance, car payments, etc)..Economy is not looking good. Jobs are getting more scarce.Food cost have increased due to inflation. Most Calgarians are now buried in debt. Many are leaving to more affordable places or countries. Retirement benefits usually cant pay the basic bills..Students who availed of student loan usually declare bankcruptcy.1/3 of commercial spaces are empty. No heavy traffic since many have moved or left. The car auction is filled with reposessed cars..Sorry for this negative observations. I live in the exact community shown in this video..Perhaps, the old saying.." It is better to sleep with empty stomach than wake up buried in debt"... is worth remembering..

I would like to state one most important thing for those who are planning to come to Canada. The housing market here is out of control. If both the partners have decent salary, most of the amount will be paid on mortgage and the saving will be extremely low. And, I’m talking about the house hold income of $150k in Calgary, and more than 200k in GTA area. Not here to discourage anybody, just telling the ground reality.

Lovely apartment tour..now I have a concern here,I love condos ok,but the balcony is the real issue... could there be a way to set up a protective glass balcony? For people who may not like height or for those who have young people or teenagers etc...pls advice
Ya just don’t rent the high rises,stay first or second floor not 11 floor 😊but if you have small kids just rent basement suite cheaper or a town house .
im 11 and i want to go to canada already its my dream place to live i wish i can go there :(....by the way im from philippines love your videos and stay safe.
Study and get some skills that could give a good income or save money before going to Canada.

2bedroom is like how much for a family of 5 and again which one is OK basement, apartment for the family of 5.
