Correction rappa isn't dot she a break character which also a which could a ruan mei rerun since linsha is a premium break sustain like the 2.4 rerun with the follow up
For Ruan Mei rerun.. I think she will get her rerun with Tingyun.. Just because the story kept on hinting Ruan Mei with real Tingyun a few times already..
Since I wasn't interested in these physical dps they've been releasing, I told myself I'll wait for the nihility 5 star dot character. Hopefully, it won't be a long wait
I mean, there's Luka.. But weirdly enough he is better in Break than DOT team.. Even his build is better on break.. You could always pair Luka Break with Kafka.. But that is just worse way to play for both Kafka and Luka..
I hope we get a new DOT char but I kinda feel like Jiaoqiu was that new DOT people kinda just overlooked his DOT potential because of Acheron comps. Unfortunately I’m not holding out hope for a new addition in the next few patches.
To be honest, fire DoT isn't that good to be considered a good DoT team member, while he is perfect for Acheron's debuff helper squad. So a real support for DoT teams are still has to be done.

Something is def up. The pattern since FF + RM has been to synergize. Even Jade got Released in the FUA era which made you wanna warp too. JQ has DoT but works better if you have Acheron. (Even though I prefer him in DoT) We still need a bleed DoT and a possible supp/sustain. RM clearly likes Break teams more and yeah there’s HuoHuo but she’s there for energy. Something to buff actually DoT damage or speed up DoT stacks is needed. I don’t think DoT will ever Crit because then you would play no other team, DoT would be endgame. One thing I did notice is Hoolay has close to 200 speed. What makes DoT proc? Every enemy turn. Maybe DoT will rise up again because of how fast enemies are about to become? Or HoYo are just saying “here’s a DoT team since we are throwing every other team at you that’s meta.”😂 We will see 🎉
i thought Jiaoqiu is the DoT base character with debuff effect. Thats why there is a Kafka and blackswan rerun. Jiaoqiu debuff could enable quick dmg amplification for enemy before the DoT take effect.

I have black swan bc I simply liked her. I only use her in an Acheron team for the def shred (if weak against wind) no Kafka. Kafka is a needed if I want to do DOT but Fei will be gotten. I may have to swipe a little to guarantee the kafka
Same with Swam. I got her because her animations and card motif was really cool. Now she is Acheron bestie. Gonna get Kafka since dot is good for me. Plus, I think a dot character is not that far away.
100% I was a huge skip on Aventurine but then the story came and I fell in love with his character and last minute pulled and had to spend for Acheron. They are beyond brilliant at manipulating the players
The current premium pure dot Team are BS, Kafka, and hue hue all the other sus can fill the role but isn't not well versed solely for dot yet..even JQ is mid for dot
i got kafka today. built her and she feels so clunky. i am trying my best to get black swarm now to make it work better but it feels like smth is missing all the time. compared to my firefly it feels like an eternity till i finish a boss
Obviously Kafka won't be good without other DoT characters (preferably wind [Sampo or Swan for example] or physical [Luka for example]). Since Kafka's role is to detonate/activate already existing DoTs.
Most likely Tingyun since a character typing kinda relates to the characters themselves, so Sunday would either be a sustain or buffer, but Tingyun on the other hand.... It feels like she could potentially be a support for DoT

All that game of waiting is great and all but my most favorite teams are dot and fua 😂 And i was lost up to aventurine release, not knowing what's my plan and i were pulling every character i like, I LITERALLY PULLED JINGLIU JUST BECAUSE OF THAT FANCY LOTUS ON HER HANS, NOTHING ELSE ( i don't even like her besides that lmao, idk what i was thinking then,probably baited cuz everyone was saying how good she is )😂 I was THAT lost, thx god i accidentally have pulled good characters like aventurine and i wanted robin but couldn't get her back then (currently trying to get her, my only premium miss for fua which happened to be one of my fav comp)

The good thing about this for me, is that I dont have to worry about not getting Black Swan and Kafka because I have them both E0S1. Now, Would I like to work on their eidolons? Fuck yeah I do, but I have only like 7K jades, and how ever many more I'll get through this upcoming patch, but it certainly wont be enough to get E2 for both. So instead, im opting to pull for 5* Tingyun, since I have no real need FUA characters as I hardly use them.

According to some info it looks like his buff is single target focused and potentially gives energy and intereting part is his skill looks like a spammable skill like Bronya/Sparkle's there are a lot of keywords suggesting stacks . Kafka and BS are more like dual dps so idk if this can actually work.
Dot lover here sitting on a guranthee at 65 pity which im using for robin and already have e0s1 Black Swan and e0 Kafka but i want her LC since i lost the 25% last time.currently have 110 pulls so i hope i can get everything without having to use all my pulls i think im on 18 pity on the LC banner atm
Dk, you only ever need 2 charectors for a team. The other 2 are usually harmony and preservation or abundance. Surely they will release another at some point, but this might signal the shift to a dot meta just as easily which is why both are offered. Who knows. I want a Kafka as i have a swan, but i also want so mamy of the reruns if for nothing more then a LC. Swan is my acheron fuel, im not that excited for Kafka but i know that is a piece O need just in case.
I hate that they are running so many at the same time. But also if this is the new normal? It may not be so bad to get faster reruns. But right now this sucks because I want both Kafka and Feixiao and have to chose just one. And I want both for both different playstyles. :(

Why are people upset at kafka BS in the same banner as though they started this game 2days ago. If you were f2p that likes dot, chances are you already have BS or Kafka... now you get a chance to get the other. If u have none, grab one now, and grab the other later... not rocket science

Yeah this.. But his DOT application is only good at E2.. My thought is, they could probably give out a DOT Sustain, or a better Kafka..

Another DoT upgrade mean indirectly buff Acheron as a whole. But i guess with the addition of enemies that have elemental lock mean DoT can work now.
