Sten guns were mostly kept for the soldiers going to Italy and Normandy. Tommy guns were more prevalent with British forces in Africa and Burma. This kit would be good for making British 14th Army soldiers in the Burma campaign too. Just paint their clothes Jungle Green
In modern British infantry a platoon consists of 3 sections that breaks down into two fire teams ,1 lead by a Lance corporal the overall command of the section is commanded by a corporal . The sgt runs the platoon and a Lt has overall command but often the platoon sometimes led by a 2nd Lt whose fresh from training and learns his trade from the more experienced sgt of the platoon, well that how it was in my days in the army. Anyway nice review.
