To be fair, Craftoworlds also contain numerous alien animals from Eldar worlds that got rescued before the birth of Slaneesh. So chances are that you can still live in a Craftworld AND be a dinosaur rider

I think in the official lore, most Necrons avoid him and his homeworld for a long time due to his encounter with the flayed ones and his infamous court trial against Orikan

Since it’s passed over, Daemons actually don’t have a great time. According to Argal Tal, his daemon half was constantly filled with frustration, described as being a predator whose prey was always just out of reach. Daemons are created based on emotions in the physical plane and therefore have desires tied to that plane. But they are in a different dimension, one where they can manipulate the things that give them sustenance (ideas and emotions) but not produce them. You are a key in a world of keys, and the only locks are in another dimension, a thought without a body to act through.
Oh also they torture and corrupt each other as they do other mortals. In the Masques backstory, it directly states Slaanesh felt despair and anger when defeated by Khorne and Nurgle. Demons are not immune to each other’s corruption.
It probably depends, Gendor Skraivok's Demon seemed to have a good time.

With that said I am not sure if they can even feel all emotions. Seems to me they are even more unique compared to others.
Being a warp entity made from being content would be dope! Probably the rarest of all emotions so it would be weak but you wouldn't give two shits would ya?! Being a demon born of rage or desperation would blow.

Ultramar and the Farsight Enclaves are probably the best places to be a civi in 40k
I hope one day we will get a short story set in Gue'vesa'rio, the human world of the Enclaves. Something similar to the short story, "Voice of Experience", a tale about a Gue'vesa living in the Nem'yar Atoll on the other side of the Startide Nexus.

Even the some of the worst quality of life for Eldar is still pretty good. Sure most members of Altansar have PTSD and are very paranoid about daemons, but they still get to live on a craftworld and are no longer in the eye of terror.

League of Votan is a good faction due to getting an ironkin bot to aid in labor, good tech all around ( not the best, just good), and mining asteroids in the void. Not bad for a grimdark universe

Envy and Fear of Death/Old Age are great motivators for joining Chaos
Chaos corruption is like a nighmarish disease. Countless Votann have succumbed to it
@@christiandauz3742it says in the Codex that the Votann cores over time genetically modified all members to have very low exposure to the warp... They don't shine at all as bright as e.g humans to the warp. They therefore have a massive resistance to the warp. And also all clones
Being an Orc doesn't seem that bad to me. Sure their lives are short and full of war, but they love that. The Galaxy's one big playground to them.If you have to be trapped in what is essentially Hell, you might as well learn to enjoy it.

They need to make the Exodites into a playable faction already.
Could be nice. But they are far from the eldar’s best warriors. Just guerrilla fighters who really don’t want you on their world.
Even the dark Eldar consider too much of a pain most of the time. And they’re the ones who have the most incentive to capture them.

Depending on where they live, Kroot either go wherever they want, eat non corrupted flesh, and seek out missions and contracts from whoever, or get told what to do/ what not to do / to die by the ethereals. Former is pretty chill most of the time (unless you happen to live near active space marines/a hive fleet/somewhere where khorne is looking/somewhere where the drukhari are looking) and the ladder is T’au life but less rigid.
The problem is we are attempting to put a human standard onto the alien Orks. Go faster, more dakka, build bigger, experimental surgery, and krump anything that wants to fight all bring joy to Orks. Being able to eat almost anything, survive almost any environment, and being able to shrug off horrible wounds is a big leg up on a universe that seems out to kill you.
Getting a video about how each of the pre heresy primarchs would have reacted to being imperial regent as Guilliman was would be a good video idea, how would perturabo rule, Konrad dictate, dorn fortify ? Some very cool ideas :)

I can't tell if it's old lore that has been retconned since, but I quite vividly remember reading that Tyranid Warriors and all subspecies above them in the synaptic hierarchy are sentient/ counscious/ self-aware and considerably smarter than the average human or even their equivalent (middle rank officiers) in most of the other playable factions. Their intellect is on par with a space marine and the hive mind has to actively decide to supress their individuality when it needs to but it usually doesn't. They even make tactical decisions on-the-go and transmit orders to nearby tyranids that came from them instead of the higher intelligence.
But I read that lore back when Tyranid Warriors could be picked as HQ units on the tabletop and I didn't keep up with the lore changes for a couple of years so I might have missed a retcon.
If this is still the case, though, you would automatically be one of those in the scenario of this video as you would see the inferior, mindless subspecies like gaunts in a similar way humans see pets or cattle, or the Tau see kroot hounds, so not eligible for this scenario.
Then I think the standard of living would fall in the average compared to the other factions... until you won on the specific planet you were meant to invade and the hive mind makes you suicide to be transported to the next world-prey.

Sentient Tyranids are functionally immortal, older than just about anything that’s not a C’tan and want for nothing. It’s very different to what we know as life, but it’s probably a pretty good existence (as much as that matters to them).
Yeah, depends on the definition of live quality. In a Universe engulfed by endless war, the Orks are the one faction, who actually enjoys themself.
The Tau is probably the best place along with the Leagues of Votann.

Hey Majorkill, I just had a thought and wanted to ask a question. I believe it was in one of your videos about perpetual, but you said that Vulkan getting killed repeatedly may have improved his regeneration like a muscle. If this is the case, do you think it is possible that the Emporer's regeneration in it's constant struggle against the golden throne could improve to the point where he would be able to begin healing whilst on the throne? Or was that muscle like reaction something unique to Vulkan's perpetual identity, or that as the Emporer's regeneration improves the golden throne increases its suction of life to keep the balance? Just a thought.

Honestly the elder are probably the only faction that i would accept (except for the dark elder) due to the fact that they have a better living conditions, better food, and even a better lifestyle, hell i wouldn't even mind betraying the imperium to help the elder out even going as far as too kicking them out of the maiden worlds they took over putting me on good relations with them and being allowed to be trained by them and live amongst them as equals.
They'd never consider you an equal. Probably more like a friendly monkey they allow to live provided you don't stink up the place too much

Thing is, once you earn that honour you have to keep proving you're worthy of it. All it takes is one slip and then oops, chaos spawn.
I would have to agree with the Eldar. Craftworld life would not be so bad and neither would Exodite, those guys need a buff. Then again part of me thinks the Dark Eldar would be so much fun.

Except if your soul stone is destroyed you get eaten by Slaanesh unless your a Ynnari or Harlequin. Given that eventually there is a serious risk of Slaanesh attacking your soul stone unless Ynnead or Chegorach wins over Slaanesh.

As long as I get reborn as an ork and not a grot, then I'm happy with ork life. Sure, you've got plenty of enemies and rivals, but all you need to do is find a bigger and stronger ork and latch onto him. Orks are fighting 90% of the time, but the last 10% is spent building, digging or having a good time. Orks don't have laws, so you can do whatever you want. Not to mention you would be a great fighter, as every fight makes you bigger, stronger and smarter. Also, your new ork brain would be flooded with dopamine when charging those gun lines, so just use a bit of cunning and get past them 5head
You'll be constantly humiliated and beaten unless you became more vicious and stronger than the others and then you'll still have to constantly prove that you're the top dog as every other orks will want your place either by dueling you or backstabbing you.

I am taking the leagues of Votann any day ! Your life is filled with purpose, every life is a ressource that cannot be spent stupidly. The population density not high, the technology is insane. You don't have that warp shennanigan bullcrap. The only problem is the weather on their planets. But coming from Canada I would say I am ready for it.

Watch that "let's get into it" again and again for a full minute and it looks like our boy is just about to neck himself.
I thought about this before and I finally came to the conclusion that I would definitely be an ork. The question being what faction would I be, not what I would live in as me. Ork live in a brutal, violent and terrifying existence that I would last about 30 seconds in, but in this scenario I am not me I am an ork, and as an ork I am just having a blast. Tyranids are not some terrifying monsters that are a constant source of dread and fear to the point of going insane. They are just new friends to krump and have fun with. To an ork all the terrifying factions and brutality in the universe are just fun and friends really. The 40k universe would just be a big playground.
Imperium lacking purpose? Brother, that’s why the guard exists, your purpose is to live and die for the emperor!
