Such a nice work! You should try to spread your idea to make a commercial version. Have you think about it? Your home work could be very improved with a little investiment. Good luck and regards!
Thank you so much! That means a lot! Yes I would like a more refined version of this to be commercially available I have a few plans for this summer and I will be posting more videos on this topic in the future stay tuned for new stuff!
@@LluisTheWoodWorker Very happy to listen it! I will follow your advances. Otherwise, I have another idea to create and design a more efficient green frame. Do not hesitate to contact me for discussing about it. Regards!
Awesome job! And loved the editing style, great stuff. The bike turned out great! The voiceover is so good as well It’s packed with useful information and technical stuff!
Thanks bro! I used premiere for the first time and after effects so good!!! you should try it!! you can do so many!!!!!! things on it Im in love with it XD
This is incredible! I'm curious, how does the cost compare to a carbon frame? Or steel although I'm not sure you could integrate the battery so damn well into a steel frame
Several years later... do you still ride the bike? Any thoughts on what you might do differently? Also, how did you get the headset and bottom bracket to be affixed in the frame? Is it just friction?
Apologies for the late response. It's weights 22kg so quite heavy but the normal to your average ebike. However I think with some higher quality parts and properly engineered frame it could be 16kg.
Hey your fab skills are a1,I'm about to start a channel ,I build retro mtbs and ebikes ,I've got a cool project we could collaborate on,it's full sus dh ebike half aluminium half plywood is the plan!could get us more views potentially, although I know your passion is woodwork ,great respect to you either way young lad your future is very bright .
One of the better wooden bikes ive seen but first wooden ebike, hope this inspires more people to try building them
Lad deserves a million plus views. Great job well done.

Decent build mate. What was the weight of just the wooden frame when it glued together and cleaned up?

Hi Luis. Congratulations for that bike build in wood! Great job! Only I requer you the plains for do it.
Thanks! Did you mean you would like the plans for it?
Increible!!!! Molt bona feina!!!!
This is very nice bike :D I want to test if adding hemp fibers between laminates could increase strength to weight ratio close to carbon fiber.
Superb
Awesome job. You are a star!
Well done, that’s fantastic! 👍

Great job! Where you have the Controller/Display from?
Thanks! Just been riding it today on some bumpy paths and it handles them no problem! Link in description for the website to the parts.
Any chance you built the frame with plans you could share, or did you wing it?
Top job. Did you get custom made drop outs mate? I’m thinking of making a 20 inch moped super 73 style
Yeah I made the drop outs myself out of aluminium by hand. I’m working on a new project now and will get cnc made drop outs.
Nice work
very epic
Thank you!
Can you add suspension. I mean you design with suspension bike made with wooden frame

nice! can i ask how much it weighs?

did you save the pattern? would love to make this on my cnc
Where did you buy the rear wheel mount ?
Hey, I did the aluminium mount myself.

Why wood? Well, easy to work with. Cheap. No expensive tools...
Environmentally friendly? Not really something I care about.
okay thanks for your thoughts :)
