OMG this game is awesome, an underrated N64 gem! When I was a kid I thought it was too hard, so I'd just spend my time driving the little trucks lol. I was really happy to hear a modern rendition of that game's music, thank you so much for sharing, you're the best :D
Filipe Patriani Finally! Someone who has played this game haha. Same here. I spent most of my time driving the different vehicles around haha. It was really groundbreaking back then to do that. Thank you so much!!! I hope I did this soundtrack justice! XD
Great cover! Poor old Body Harvest. It's crying out for a remake to sand down the rough edges. I remember looking forward to this game for so long (it was one of the first N64 games announced), but it was delayed... and delayed... and delayed. Finally picked up a used cartridge several years after release. It's the very definition of a flawed gem. So many frustrating bits (falling into the water in Java, aaargh)... but when it's fun, *man* is it fun! Especially those boss battles. Speaking of frustrating: The first time I played it, I used the 'Zero' (easy) difficulty... not knowing that you can only play the first three levels on easy. Gah. Had to start all over again on 'Hero' difficulty. On my second slog through the game, I finally fought my way through that $%#@ Siberia level and reached the Processor you have to attack with a jet fighter. Since that area takes about an hour to get through and I'd had to repeat it several times already, I flew all the way back to the save point so I wouldn't have to do it all over again if I died. Joke was on me. The game didn't approve of my shenanigans. When I inevitably died and restarted, the game glitched and the Processor model disappeared. Just an empty spot on the landscape from which lasers and missiles would spring out of nowhere. And since there was nothing there for my shots to hit, I couldn't beat it. There was no way to undo my save either. Had to restart the game a *third* time. You could say my game was bugged.
Am i the only one who wish for a sequel to this or a remaster. Especially when you learn that part of the team where the one behind GTA. Damn i would like to see rockstar do a Scifi openworld.
Simply amazing. I love how you've managed to maintain the haunting nature of the original OST while enhancing the quality of it considerably! Well done!
Although I have never heard of this game, this is a beyond stellar tune. That transition at 4:16 gave me literal goosebumps because of how good this is. You make me want to pick up the piano again and play some video game songs.
Thanks a lot! Those drums at the end are not in the original song but I had to add drums somewhere!!! I'm glad you liked it! You should play some piano again. Have fun :D
You may be the only other person I know outside of my family that has played this game. Great job! The eerie music was always a highlight to this game.
SilverMongooseVideos Thanks! You're one of the few i've met outside my brother and me who know about this game too. The erie music really complemented the game. It made the experience that much more creepy. Thanks again!
DonutDrums I never tought anyone else played this game, haha, I loved it, when I was young and dumb I tought it wasa sequel of super metroid, and then later, older, but still dumb, I tought that was a copy, haha, good game
Man.. i have no words to describe what im feeling. All i can say is that you ve done a great job! This game means all my childhood.. so many great memories. Thank u for bringing them . I almost cried whem u playd the "Inside buildings theme" so nice. Thank you very much!!
@@donutdrums Same here... no words. This game took me years to beat as a kid, and those memories are a bit indescribable. Hot summer days in front of the TV, knuckles white as I desperately tried to climb up a riverbank in Java to keep from drowning and losing a whole morning's progress... doesn't sound like fun but it's an experience I'll never forget! It's so nice to hear a modern rendition, thank you
Great job! You definitely created an atmosphere with this medley. That shirt works well too ;) I like it more than the originals, especially with those drum additions. I love the last song the most
3:25... Always loved that Map music. Such a stunning remake! Shame there's only a select few that will ever appreciate this and know that without this game GTA3 never would have happened!
Whoah, I've heard of this game, but never played it. This is really dark, and I seriously love it, amazing work as always! ps, love the shirt ;D Edit: Watched it again, this is seriously so good
I highly recoomend it, You wouldn't beleive how good the game really is the more you play through it, Rockstar/DMA design really done a brilliant job with this game. The music and difficulty alone make this game grab your every attention.
Still so crazy how DMA design made this game, The same Rockstar North you see who's developing GTA6 and GTA games in general. I've been playing through grand theft Auto 3 on the PS2 lately and I got into a ice cream truck and they literally used the same ice cream tune that they did from body harvest I was blown away with nostalgia with that. I kept thinking this is like body harvest.
do you have any idea of how can i simulate that on the pc? , cuz everytime a download a rom for pj64 i have clipping issues, i dont wanna think that bh will never be playable for me anymore since i dont have my n64 anymore...
Not sure. I've tried dozens of different Body Harvest roms and I've never gotten a single one to work correctly. Of course i'm on a mac and that makes thing a bit different.
spyvsspyrax It's a pretty fun and challenging game. If you can get it for cheap I would recommend picking it up. That's a sick song! I'll definitely add it to my list. Thanks for the request! :D
Obscure gem i still have my copy with me love this game who would know the company that make the game now is rockstar and thia game is the grand father of gta

How have I only just seen this? This is awesome like the rest of your stuff. Body Harvest was such a unique game with a very memorable soundtrack!
Thanks! I love this soundtrack!
Where is the button to donate this guy a million dollars, even though this is worth the world, you are a master❤️

Yeah Body harvest was literally a horor game for me, the music alone made me freak out and have nightmares.
Great cover!

Genial!
Muito!
Thank you for doing this. Absolutely one of the best soundtracks ever!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

I'd love to see Rockstar do something new with this game. Or someone remaster it with the unreal engine or something.
@@donutdrums well not unreal engine it imply the use of Epic game Launcher at least on PC and its a PC client/software that i hate.
We're remaking this in Unreal Engine
Titan Games making this in unreal

Thank you! Very true! Any fan of the GTA series from III forward owes a lot to this game.
Awesome dude!
This game is still so much fun after all this time
I haven't played it in years. If I ever get an N64 again, this will be one of the first games I buy.
Nice!
Thanks!
Hope someday this game gets a remake.
Or some sort of re-release. I haven't played it properly since it first came out.
Are you still doing covers for this ?? If so please do the boss battle theme it's so good
We are
Titan Games is doing it
Awesome cover !! Love the drums !!
Thanks a lot!
Lovely!
Thanks!!!
Awesome!
Thanks!!!!
Could you do a cover of the boss theme from this game? You know, the song that plays when you're fighting the area boss in the Alpha 1.
Great game. Wonderful cover!
Thanks a lot!
Me again - any chance of an extended version of Map? It's just outstanding.
I'd have to rerecord it but I'm definitely not opposed to the idea. I'm glad you like it!
@@donutdrums Would love that! 😀
Awesome!!!
Thanks!
Hi! Can we use this in the remaster?
ABSOLUTELY
@@donutdrums THANKS! If you make remasters of other Body Harvest soundtracks, let us know, we'll use them in the remaster, credited to you, of course!
