    Beautiful I love it, how much does a decoration like this cost?

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  2 года назад

      Thank you. Cost of materials for everything including making the wall, weights for the wall, paint, balloons, backdrop clips, and teddy bear is $250. This is assuming you already have a jigsaw, power drill and sander. This is not how much I would charge to make for a client, just the cost of materials.

    Hello, I am a big fan of your videos. I was wondering how you know when to throw in a 17 and 18 inch balloon throughout your main garland to make the larger balloons look so evenly spaced throughout. Is there a method you like to use or do you just eyeball it?
    I have been adding my 18 inch balloons with 260’s to my main garland so I know where they will end up but yours look so good and you add them right in to the main garland.

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  11 месяцев назад

      Thank you 😊. I'm glad you found the content helpful. I add 18in to the balloon garland base when I want a fuller garland

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  11 месяцев назад +2

      I add 18 in balloons to each cluster at a rate of 3 to 1 in comparison to 11/12 inch balloons. So if I have the a cluster of 6 balloons, 4 will be 11in and 2 will be 18in. Hopes that helps

      Hello. I used a backdrop clip and 260q balloon. I tied the 260q to the clip, clipped it to the wall the tied the other end of the 260q to a 'collar' I tied around the bears neck using a piece of ribbon.

    love this tutorial! what kind of paint do you use? do you have any issues with the paint coming off when you transfer vinyl for customization?

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  Год назад

      Hello. I use external latex paint and primer mix. No, it does not come off with the vinyl. I use permanent vinyl on latex paint because removable vinyl does not stick on the paint in my experience. The permanent vinyl will stick and come off.

      Hello. It took a few tries to cut it the way I wanted. Make sure you use a blade that would easily cut into your board and make sure the setting on your saw fits the material you're cutting.

      Hello. You're looking to pay $50-70 for a 4 by 8ft slab of quality plywood now (I think i paid $40 for mine). You'll be paying another $20 for furing strips and 2 by 4's for the backing. I'd say the total project, not including power tools is about $120-$150 with today's prices.

    • @valsballoonsandbusiness
      @valsballoonsandbusiness  Год назад

      Clusters were 4- 6 dupes (8 to 12 balloons per cluster). The 12 inch balloons made up the majority of each cluster and I added 2-4 18inch balloons to each cluster depending on the size. I only had 12in in the latte color.
