Look what Olave and Wilson did with trash QB play and then imagine Marv with Kyler 😮💨😮💨😮💨 Marv is a LOCK for top 10 and could easily be top 5
Those are some bold expectations to be fair. Wilson was WR21 his rookie year and Olave was WR25. Saying MHJ is a lock for top 10 would mean he would need to put up a stat line around 100 receptions, 1,200 yds, and 8 TDs. It’s definitely possible for a guy like him but only 2 guys have posted a stat line as rookies that hit all three of those metrics - Anquan Boldin and Puka Nacua (only 6 TDs for Puka but he made up for it with yds).
I’d have a hard time seeing MHJ getting there in the same way Chase finished top 5 his rookie season by posting 13 TDs and 18 yds/catch. Chase toasted DBs deep and MHJ doesn’t seem like quite the same burner that Chase is.
@@parkerphelps5202 That’s my point about Olave and Wilson those were some amazing finishes given their qb situations. Marv has a franchise QB who can feed a #1. Marv is coming into the lg as a top tier route runner. Pair that with what’s rumored to be 4.3 speed and that 6’4 frame the ability to run an entire route tree, and make every and any catch he’s coming in as the alpha and on top of that that’s who Kyler wanted you should’ve seen how he was gushing at the pick he has a video of himself watching the draft he will def feed him the ball. Puka with Stafford is the perfect example Kupp went down Puka took over proved dependable so he kept getting lookings. Marv is literally coming in with that role because there is no Kupp ahead of em
@@smercxz I’m more pointing out that it’s very difficult to expect a rookie WR who will have to adjust to a new system, new QB, new league, CBs who are bigger, stronger, and faster than anyone he has played before, new defensive schemes he has never seen before, etc. to be better than 10 other extremely talented WRs in the league who have been in their current situations for years and are used to facing NFL talent for years. It’s a tough ask and I definitely don’t think MHJ is a “lock” to do something only 2 other rookie WRs have ever done. If anyone can do it, it would be him, but lots of people are setting themselves up for disappointment with their expectations of MHJ. If he has 70 receptions, 900 yds, and 5 TDs, that would be an amazing rookie season by historical standards but the majority of people will be very disappointed with that.

@@markhoops24 we don’t need Kyler to be a good QB, we just need him to do for Marv what he did for DHop in 2020. Kyler is a much better passer than Zach Wilson

Cardinals suck. Crap owner and management. If there is anything you can take to the bank year over year, it is the Cardinals being hot garbage. The NFC West will continue to use this franchise like the SEC uses Vanderbilt. Phoenix wasted a lot of tax dollars building a nice stadium.
Look at what the federal government uses our tax dollars for. I think a new stadium for Phoenix is a much better use of tax dollars than 99% of decisions that our government makes.
