A lot of divisions came and these ministries have not recovered and most likely won't recover. We are to pray for all our leaders as 1 Timothy 2:1-2. These pastors never talk about other sins beside abortion and lgbtq. Domestic violence goes on a lot in the Church and seems like they quiet on that issue and other issues.

I think I have to lean towards agreeing with the two pastors you showed us as examples. As the first one tried to say, I don't know that it's necessarily a Salvation issue, if people are ignorant of all that the Word says - because maybe they are a new Christian, etc - or they can't comprehend it for one reason or the other but I agree with almost everything these two guys said!

I cannot tolerate the evil and godlessness in the Democratic Party, but I WILL NOT SAY as this pastor does, 'you're not a Christian if you vote Democrat.' That statement questions another's salvation; THAT'S WRONG (I feel that violates Christ's command "judge not lest ye be judged") I have Christian friends who are Democrats but do not buy into abortion or LPGTQ.
Instead of using this pastor's judgmental phrase, I openly tell friends(Christian and non-Christian alike) "I don't understand how a Christian can vote Democrat, knowing what the party now supports." I believe saying it this way lets a Christian EXAMINE IN DEPTH what they support, and then understand how the Democratic Party and Jesus Christ are now poles apart.

You speak it bro. As a minister I have seen it personally. I saw Churchs split on support for 45 and pastors trying to influence the sheep to vote for him. A lot of divisions came and these ministries have not recovered and most likely won't recover. We are to pray for all our leaders as 1 Timothy 2:1-2. These pastors never talk about other sins beside abortion and lgbtq. Domestic violence goes on a lot in the Church and seems like they quiet on that issue and other issues.

I think I have to lean towards agreeing with the two pastors you showed us as examples. As the first one tried to say, I don't know that it's necessarily a Salvation issue, if people are ignorant of all that the Word says - because maybe they are a new Christian, etc - or they can't comprehend it for one reason or the other but I agree with almost everything these two guys said!

Approach #3. The pastor challenges his congregation with policies and apparent outcomes of those policies that contradict Christian convictions. We have to make a choice between 2 parties that do not perfectly reflect the truth of scripture....they never have. Trump nor Kamala are our saviors, but which one aligns MOST CLOSELY with the truths of scripture. The side with the fewest compromises is easiest to move closer to full truth than the one so far away from truth.

The Other Party(Republican) party is not perfect but they care more for The Poor, Legal immigration, and Moral Biblical issues that are the most important than all the issues.
