This whole video felt weird to me.... there wasnt anything i could add, i dunno... I'm just throwing this here for the sake of archiving this moment.
Sometimes there are moments like this and they're just as important.
Thank you for archiving this moment for all of us to cherish.
Well these are indeed fox tears and this is very nice. Ty
Like Neil and Eva said, just take it moment-for-moment.
I like it that people are still discovering this gem of a game. Even tho its old, the story is still top notch as ever.
It’s easy to forget that any game can have an amazing story, no matter how old it is.
I always like when people realize what the Origami Paper Rabbit with two colors symbolize as well as the reason why River loved Lighthouses. There's this special moment when the dots all connect and you're just left there heartbroken due to the specific reason he can't remember, and yet throught the years River never forgot and desperately tried to get him to remember before she passed.
But even though he couldn't remember exactly what she was referring to, at least on a subconscious level, even though he might not always have been acutely aware of it, he always understood her. That was his real wish all along-to finally know for sure that he was right about how much she loved him.
I don't get it
"What a weak woman, crying over a 8 bit pixelated game"
-Me, totally not crying over a 8 bit pixelated game
Foxes don't cry, they piss with tears
3:39 "woman tears nice!" Not like this Theo xD...poor kitsune she tried but the game is Savage and it breaks everyone's kokoro.
Women tears are great, but the woman SNOT had me laughing my ass off.
Actually one of my favorite games. When I was fucking sick of playing piano, learning the OST to this song is what salvaged my relationship with the piano.
Putting the parallel moments side by side was a nice touch, glad Tenma got to experience this game.
I remember watching a play through of this a long time ago. Brought me to tears then, brings me to tears now.
I'm not crying. It's you crying 😭
@NotTheo you captured a many beautiful moments in this video where Tenma gets so emotional and attached to the game, it really shows how much heart she puts into playing and this is why she is so adorable and a really good gamer. ❤
Music has pieces that last throughout time, books have stories that get told again and again, even movies have their own "classics". I think videogames will have games like this, ones that will keep getting replayed again and again not for any arbitrary replay value the game implements but simply because they are such impactful experiences.
Ah man, to the moon. A sad classic
I’ve never seen this game before but just by the mood this stuff is setting I can absolutely see why.
Now's the time to pick it up. It's on sale in preparation for the fourth installment in the series (or the movie-the publishers have been a little vague about which is happening first).
I gotta say you are a real one for this video. Never seen someone distill the soul of this game so well into such a short video, made even better by Tenma being so expressive and authentic.
My god...this game...such delicious sadness.
I will never forget the emotional impact this game had on me, just wonderful storytelling.
I was not ready for this at 7:58 AM
I didn't even know vixens could cry.
this also made me cry as well, it reminded me of a memory of a close friend. God where’s that invisible ninja who’s been cutting onions.
idk why but i read fox tears as for texas and i was so confused.
Would you stop with this? I already cried enough.
I was lucky to see whole stream live. That was beautiful. Even if i already done this game before....
I have played this game, I have seen this gem of a game dozens of times... I cry every time!!
The music, the artstyle, its FANTASTIC!
I must admit...i don't understand. Feel kinda stupid watching this
Ogod it had me in tears until her amsr 😂
All joking aside thanks for sharing this. lm glad tenma enjoyed thus sweet and sad story
that timing was pretty good 😭
Tenma "Make Her Audience Cry With Her" Maemi 😭
I don't know this game and haven't watched the stream but man I can feel her feeling on that scene
I had just come back from watching clips of another VTuber spitting snot, only to be welcomed by kitsune blowing snot at the end of touching stream moments.
I'm not sure how I should feel right now 😕😕😕😂😂😂
That soundtrack. Oof
I'm glad I was there for this moment
Thanks. I missed that stream.
Fox's bodily fluids, nice.
🤨📸
Nice game. thanks Mi-chan
Justo acabo de terminar de ver el directo
Gonna need to get her to play Outer Wilds..
Thanks NT
I remamber crying a lot in this game but I don't remember anything about it's plot cause I played it back in 2011
😭👍
nice.
Poor Tenma
Go to the moon bring me to tear's
Pain.
I do not understand, but fox tears are nice indeed.
Maybe I'll try to replay this game. I stopped because it was a glitch-fest.
Lmao how did u glitch this game out? It’s an RPG maker game. I’ve also never seen any major issue w/ the game in both my playthrough or any other’s.
Did u pirate the game?
Is this game have a message "never stop dreaming no matter how much time pass"? Because the character of Jhonny really droped the ball with the paper rabbit with his senile clinical ass.
No, that’s not the message. At all. How in the world did you get that message? Johnny dreamed big, he wanted to live his life with his wife and have the dream of living near the lighthouse, but it was taken from him cuz life sucks. I think it’s pretty horrid for you to call this traumatized guy on his death bed, senile. And what do u even mean by “clinical”?
Johnny lost his brother, repressed the memories from trauma, his mother spent her life looking at Johnny‘s true self was ignored cuz his mother only saw him as Joey. Johnny didn’t stop “dreaming”, his “love” for his childhood things like Animorph “faded” cuz he never actually liked those things, his BROTHER did. His mother spent his entire life favoring/comparing him to his brother and when he died tried to force him into a mold that he didnt fit.
Then he met River who was ASD, never hid her true self, and never fit in. He had always tried to be what others wanted. River tried to resurrect his repressed memories and failed to. She got sick, and died and left him alone, dying for a reason he never was able to learn while he was alive.
I don’t see how any of that makes Johnny out of be senile. He dreamed big and has his hopes and dreams dashed in front of him many times. That’s life. Your logic makes no sense. Johnny had simple dreams, and even those ended tragically. But he still had a pretty decent life, despite it all.
I got autocorrected meant cynical not clinical and to my point. The woman tried to remind him about their childhood conversation of Moon being rabbit by making paper rabbit that looked like a moon and repeating exact conversation yet this idiot didn't fucking get it. Sorry for offending your ass to write a thesis. Jeez
Oh and also to add my response to tragic and dramatic events not tears not sadness, my gut response is anger frustration and violence so excuse me and getting angry at this "oh so tragic" grandpa because he's slow on pickin up what others putting down.
@@ma.2089 it's even worse, because it is his mother who made him forget, via the beta blockers, so it wasn't even his doing and his mother did it to pretend that johnny was joey to boot
What is this game called?
I believe it’s called to the moon
At the risk of making myself unpopular: I don't think "To the moon" is a very deep or tragic game.
The man had a fulfilled live. With a wonderful, albeit sadly ill woman, who happens to be a childhood friend. (no, it wasn't a love... they were what? 6?) Sure, their circumstances were somewhat dramatic, but they only represent the smallest part of their lives.
And then he has this remnant wish to get to the moon. Where he is not reunited with his love, because it all happens in his head. His love is long dead.
In the game, literally nothing happens but an old man dies while having fantasies about a false world. They could have pumped him with drugs and he had the same happy end.
Only when people forget - willingly or coincidentally - that they are not actually changing the world or the past, they become so enamoured about the story.
Hmm…. I hate to say it but this didn’t… stir anything up inside of me.
My “feels” were not touched.
Did u watch the OG stream or did you just watch this?
If you did tho, I’m curious. What does touch you?
Mostly these sorts of stories touch those who share similar feelings and experiences. Maybe you’re too young to have experienced these sorts of things and therefore couldn’t relate enough to feel that. Or you could be ASD like River. Or maybe you just have lesser emotional intelligence with more intelligence regulated to other things.
@@ma.2089 Adorable. No, I have more important things to do than watch watch a 3 to 4 hour streams about some game I'll never have interest or time set aside to play.
As for my apathy for the overused plot point. I've seen it a hundred times old man or woman looking-grieving over their long past soul mate. It's been done. The choice of medium doesn't help either.
As for what "touches me." The feeling of grass, the smell of marinated steak on the barbecue, hitting a steel plate at a hundred yards using irons, sound of ocean waves, and most importantly family.
@@nyogtheeldritchgentleman how about the plot of a woman who drugged up her own kid to pretend she didn't make a mistake, which inevitably lead to said child's relationship being screwed over because his wife thought he forgot and so spent every day until her death to remind him of something that he can't remember because of the drugs? is that a sufficiently new plot for you? because that is a plot point for this game
@@nyogtheeldritchgentleman the feeling of grass my ass
I will never get tired of watching other people play this for the first time. so good
