These are such excellent recommendations. I sent this to all of my students! As a teacher who loves to play and teach Chopin, I would say that the hardest thing to deal with is the correct playing of "rubato" in the tempo. Chopin himself made his students play phrases over and over again before he was satisfied...and many times, he wasn't.
