Harry, I kept a close eye on Onana in today's game. My God he is so underwhelming. His contribution to progressing the ball is less than ElNeny. I will be so disappointed if we waste money on him.

Osihmen is prone to injury bevause he does all the work. In a well rounded team like arsenal, he'd be a rockstar. He'd be like harland in Manchester City. You guys need to let your guards down, we paid 100m for Declan Rice. He is no where near Osihmen in terms of being rugged and he has not capitulated in arsenal. Leave Osihmen alone. He will do just great and fine. He is worth 100m and more. I am not sure how Osimhen can be valued less than Havertz! If we forked out 60mil for Havertz, then Osimhen got to be in the region of 80 to 90 mil.

All you tubers keep telling us Osimen is clinical, but none of them have put the actual numbers in the videos and compares him with elite forwards, the only reference is the season they won the league. I wonder 🤔
Like if the sources are TRUE, €75m seems like a first bid to set the price range. I think it'll come down to €100-90m ie £85-77m. £80m including add-ons, I can see that. Is he worth that money, more likely. Like 80m for a player is always gonna be a risk, there aren't strikers as secured as the rice signing apart from haaland or mbappe. I think osimhen would be a very good addition to our front line while havertz can be used as like a Swiss army knife playing different positions throughout our front 5 and exploiting spaces which he's best at.
An injury free Osimhen gets us a goal at the Etihad, Anfield and Allianz arena. Thats nearly a PL title and a CL semi-final.
If however there is likelihood of injury then we should not go for him at all unless it is for a trivial amount which ain't gonna happen.
In which case we should go for a Gyokeres or Zirkzee who still improve our Jesus / Nketiah bench.

All depends on other targets. Afcon is a major turn-off, but up to £80m, if he really is that good, makes sense for depth of squad and tactical options. But, big but, surely midfield is our focus, unless we’re looking to rely on havertz dropping in as an 8, or false 9. Not worth sacrificing our midfield upgrade for! End of the day, I trust the process/edu, arteta, et al.

id be amazed if you could get him for 90, maybe that's possible, maybe it's a decent bet? but we have much more pressing issues to deal with before punting a huge amount on one player.
I think he is our best option with a much more guaranteed success rate at the club than the likes of sesko. We need players of his calibre and higher who can see us win the league and hopefully the championship
With all of the recruitment talk about striker, winger, and defensive mid, how is the biggest imperative not a backup for Odegaard? Of all of the players, we have the least coverage for him at possibly our most important position. To this end, would Xavi Simons be able to back up Odegaard and Saka?
I also agree that £65m is a fair deal. He is 23, full of zest and hunger. Above £65m, i am not sure. Arsenal is going into the UCL and there is need for flexibility in the team. We also need a clinical finisher
