At some point, I’d like to do a video myself on the almost never-seen parts of Santa Barbara: that only the locals know about. Indeed, you’ve hit the well-traveled tourist spots ... However ... Pendola Hot Springs, Hollister hot springs, Cold springs trail, Montecito Tea Gardens, Mesa Lane (hidden surfing) beach, Ellwood (old fishing pier), The remnants of the Japanese internment camp, Rincon and Ojai, fly-over the Clarke Estate (on East Beach), fly-over the old McCormick estate (where the Prince and Princess now live), Douglas family Preserve, More Mesa and Gaviota beaches (clothing optional), Rattle Snake Canyon, Mountain Drive “old hippie” community, Inspiration point, ... and, so many other hidden places in Santa Barbara (my home town).
Thank you so much for this video. I was planning a surprise weekend trip to Santa Barbara to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and your tips absolutely made our weekend! Everything from lunch at Sushi Go Go, drinks on Hendry's Beach, to devouring The Elvis and Breakfast Sandwich at Helena Avenue Bakery the next day. I can't thank you guys enough. You guys should’ve mentioned Lily’s tacos for authentic Mexican tacos!! Classic staple in Santa Barbara and opened that second location in Goleta a few years ago when I still lived there
Some great tips! I'm seriously thinking of visiting after Labor day and am stoked you said Sept is one of the best times weather wise. Will be a great way to say goodbye to my home state before moving 🤙

It is seriously one of our favorite places in CA! Haha yes, the Funk Zone is basically a district/neighborhood filled with a ton of contemporary boutique tasting rooms, trendy cafes, galleries, and shops!
