It's basically an alternative to kontrol freaks or extended sticks that you can have with custom controllers like a scuf. It's meant to give you more precise aiming in fps games. good for people with long fingers at least.

Oh stop whining y'all. It's not just some playdough, it's a durable flexible fast self-curing silicone rubber. Actual playdough is pretty useless, but this is. It's not thát expensive compared to epoxy resins and other good glues.
sugru is neat but you can accomplish a similar substance by mixing corn starch into RTV silicone or silicone caulk. there are some videos about it floating around
