Very, very interesting, because he doesn't have the arrogance of the family leaders, nor the naivety of Bam and Rachel. He's a pure soul and independant as well. While being mostly a comedic character he has some very serious parts to him as we can see he doesn't want to be the new irregular for the tower to drag around and try to use. We can see Bam get pulled into being a pawn of FUG and never escape from the identity they created for him. Urek was part of the reason that he learns how to be independent. He teaches him that he is not to be used for anyone's expectations, let alone his mother's. He doesn't have to do anything for anyone just because of his status. Now that he has entered the tower, his life is his and he does not belong to Rachel. I love the dynamic between them, almost like two sides of the same coin and the only other irregular the other can identify with. Urek sees the good and bad in people, and that's why he chooses to surround himself with good people rather than the Family leaders.
Rachel doesn’t actually want to see the stars tho. She already saw them every night but left them to go into the tower. She doesn’t want to see Stars, she wants to become one.

It was mentioned the test Headon gives is base on the person's desires, that means he must have an ability to know what the person wants. And when he made a deal with Rachel he didn't mention anything about stars, instead of saying "I'll help you see the stars" he said "I'll make you the heroine", that must mean that's what Rachel really wants. I also pronounce the name of Urek Mazino like you lmao, Urek Mazino's character is one of my favorites in Tower of God, with just a few episodes he was able to win the hearts of many fans, I love the friendly relationship between Urek and Yuri, Yuri is lower in the ranking while Urek is the Number 4, but even so Yuri jokes with him and they both respect each other no matter who is stronger, Urek Mazino's presentation in S2 was Amazing, and Urek's battles are incredible, I hope to see Urek using all his power one day and know a little more about him.
I loved how SIU portrayed Urek's mistake in giving Helljoe the Admin baby. Joe was right, Urek gave him the power, then waltzed in a situation he had no understanding about and tried to "fix it", by making Joe powerless. It's a rare instant where powerful characters like Urek who are the "good guys" don't always win.
I really hope we'll get a wolhaiksong arc, where we find out more about the members themselves and maybe even find more members (including Baek Ryun ofc). It'd also be interesting to have some of Bam's friends join them. I think that'd be a great way to "ditch" some characters while also having the possibility of them returning stronger much later on and used as a plot pushing point.
Something that seems missing from the video is the fact that Urek only entered to tower because he was trying to find/follow Phantaminum. I don't think it's ever mentioned if he found them, but Wolhaiksong was founded based of his tales of the outside world to Baek Ryun who wanted to see the outside. In that respect it's not that he wants to explore outside the tower it's that he already knows what's there. He simply has no interest in the tower, in contrast to Zahard who came to the tower because he wanted an adventure.

I wish you had mentioned the incident with the ranker administration office. For anyone curious: Urek was unhappy being ranked so low (I mean really man? you're unhappy with being #4?) so he barged into the ranker administrators office and threatened Robert Aisand, who was the head of the office to raise his rank. he said to him "have you ever seen me fight phantaminum?" and Aisand answered immediately and with absolutely no hesitation "you will be the loser." Which of course we all know is absolutely true because Phantaminum is an axis. If you're curious about that go read the wiki to find out what an axis in the TUS is.
Doesn't the lore state Urek originally came from outside the Tower chasing Phantaminum and he wants to get back out of the Tower because Phantaminum is no longer inside the Tower? Hence why he doesn't care about the Tower or being "King"
Urek tracked Phantaminum and followed him inside the Tower. It took Urek only 50 years to pass every test and climb all the way up to the top of the Tower. He is recorded as the fastest person to climb the Tower through an orthodox method and it would probably be accurate to say he scaled the Tower faster than Zahard himself.

I know this is an old video, but I'm just reading the floor of death again and I think Urek reveals that outside of the tower he was just an ordinary repair man. He tells Hell Joe that he likes him because he's just like him, an ordinary repair man. Hell Joe does hole maintenance, kinda like a plumber so I think Urek Mazino was just an ordinary plumber outside of the tower.

Urek's the type of guy to shit in the urinal and then walk up to the manager to tell them what he did and ask "what are you gonna do about it" to establish dominance.
Urek is my favourite character because this guy is definitely based off a real life character. He's the most consistent guy in the story, calling people baby, believing in people but never forcing anyone to do anything. My favourite frame in the manga is the data version of himself saying "I'm getting out of this place" He goes on to explain his crazy plan and you think about wolhaiksong and its suddenly inception

Given how old Garam is she more like a great great grandma of urek than a love interest. Urek is what 700-800 years old while garam is 5000+ years old.
I just had this realization. What if the tower is like a country? It exist in a world where other towers may also exist like how countries are. And these different towers have different stories like for example tower of god itself is the story within that specific tower. It's like in ancient times when people did not know that there are other countries across the world. And in the case of ToG, the inhabitants of the tower does not know that there are other towers or countries outside.
4:33 I disagree, FUG came in to being as a force for Arlene and V to fight against jahad & 10 family heads and their cronies. The reason they fought was because jahad kinda hid the keys for the upper floors which they(Arlene and V) wanted to enter, that being said there is one way to get out of the tower which is to climb to the top (atleast that's the conventional way) so for urek to fulfill his dream he'll have to do what fug is doing rn which is to fight jahad he may not be the same as fug now but his destination will force him to become the same as them eventually so in a way they are more than comparable.
Am I missing something about irregulars? Aren't they from outside the tower? Shouldn't they already know what's outside? Urek talked as if he already knew what was out there already, which makes sense as he is from the outside.
Id like to understand a few things about him. Like why was he so fascinated with the axis? Do they know each other from the outside? Why is is he so focused on leaving the tower when he went in on his own accord? I would also like to know why Zahad is stronger than him? Gustang's behavior while subtle suggests he is more willing to piss off Zahad than Urek. Also off topic is it me or are the first 2 floor guardians a bit more involved in the affairs of the tower? It is as if they actively change what happens. look at their behavior so far.

Favorite character in the story tbh. Cant wait till we get to the 77th floor. Imo he has the best introduction out of any high ranker so far, love his design, plus he’s a genuine dude despite his immense power. Hopefully soon we can see how powerful he really is. Personally I believe he’s actually stronger than jahad in terms of skills and power, but due to Jahad’s fate manipulation he’d win in the end unfortunately. I could be wrong though.
I wonder if we'll ever get a fight between the top rankers that isn't one sided. Gustang has said that Urek is strong enough to kill him and the entire Po Bidau family by himself without any trouble but still wouldn't be able to beat Jahad, Enryu has killed a Guardian and from what little we saw of the fight got through the fight completely unscathed while the author has said that Jahad would never be able to kill a Guardian no matter how much effort he put into it, and Pantaminum is just plain invincible. Seems like the only way we might get an even fight is if some of the 10 Family Heads rebel and fight amongst one another because if they try to fight Jahad, Enryu, or Urek they'd just get ripped to shreds

Urek is my favourite character because this guy is definitely based off a real life character. He's the most consistent guy in the story, calling people baby, believing in people but never forcing anyone to do anything.

I just had this realization. What if the tower is like a country? It exist in a world where other towers may also exist like how countries are. And these different towers have different stories like for example tower of god itself is the story within that specific tower. It's like in ancient times when people did not know that there are other countries across the world. And in the case of ToG, the inhabitants of the tower does not know that there are other towers or countries outside.

4:33 I disagree, FUG came in to being as a force for Arlene and V to fight against jahad & 10 family heads and their cronies. The reason they fought was because jahad kinda hid the keys for the upper floors which they(Arlene and V) wanted to enter, that being said there is one way to get out of the tower which is to climb to the top (atleast that's the conventional way) so for urek to fulfill his dream he'll have to do what fug is doing rn which is to fight jahad he may not be the same as fug now but his destination will force him to become the same as them eventually so in a way they are more than comparable.
He needs fo search for Baam's mom she made it outside of the tower haha. Hope SIU reveals the princes of jahad soon

Am I missing something about irregulars? Aren't they from outside the tower? Shouldn't they already know what's outside? Urek talked as if he already knew what was out there already, which makes sense as he is from the outside.

Id like to understand a few things about him. Like why was he so fascinated with the axis? Do they know each other from the outside? Why is is he so focused on leaving the tower when he went in on his own accord? I would also like to know why Zahad is stronger than him? Gustang's behavior while subtle suggests he is more willing to piss off Zahad than Urek. Also off topic is it me or are the first 2 floor guardians a bit more involved in the affairs of the tower? It is as if they actively change what happens. look at their behavior so far.

Favorite character in the story tbh. Cant wait till we get to the 77th floor. Imo he has the best introduction out of any high ranker so far, love his design, plus he’s a genuine dude despite his immense power. Hopefully soon we can see how powerful he really is. Personally I believe he’s actually stronger than jahad in terms of skills and power, but due to Jahad’s fate manipulation he’d win in the end unfortunately. I could be wrong though.

I wonder if we'll ever get a fight between the top rankers that isn't one sided. Gustang has said that Urek is strong enough to kill him and the entire Po Bidau family by himself without any trouble but still wouldn't be able to beat Jahad, Enryu has killed a Guardian and from what little we saw of the fight got through the fight completely unscathed while the author has said that Jahad would never be able to kill a Guardian no matter how much effort he put into it, and Pantaminum is just plain invincible. Seems like the only way we might get an even fight is if some of the 10 Family Heads rebel and fight amongst one another because if they try to fight Jahad, Enryu, or Urek they'd just get ripped to shreds
