The developer can afford it. They developed the three separate housing projects in the area, and have the street that accesses this property named after them.
@@GraeMatterz They knew there was rock, they just didnt have any idea of how much rock. Chris said something to that effect in one of the earlier videos in this series, that's why they made doubly sure there was a rock clause.

That just going to be the best animal hospital in the world right there for those kittycats and bunny rabbits...sure it's all fun and games until Fluffy loses an ear but did you see that magnificent foundation cut to fine grade and think of all those boulders that fine gentleman had to dig out, then it's not so bad getting a bill for 2 thousand when your budgie got a bit of a limp.

i love the ones who post 1st or within the 10 ten , its a 30 min video its only been out 5 mins and there asking questions ,, if they would have watched the video 99 percent of the questions they were asking got answered ,, its nice to be 1st to comment , but save my questions till i watched the whole thing . thought i was 2nd one day by the time my computer did its thing i was 3rd or 4th its almost 26 thousand views now ..

Could almost replace a bulldozer with some of the stuff I've seen Chris pushing around with their skidsteer sometimes, lol. Powerful little machine that has surprised me a few times with what they can do with it. Never would've been able to do it with a wheeled one. Tracks have definitely improved them like you said.
If an actual working animal hospital ends up on this site it will be a miracle. I wish the best to all parties that have an investment on this project.

Boulders? Those ain't boulders. When the contractor did the dirt work for our new home foundation here in New Mexico we ended up with hundreds of boulders, many over 10 tons each and two at 18 tons each !! They are all still on the property, some as yard art. The big Komatsu struggled but got those two big'uns out.

Hey Chris ur doing a dam good job there and ur the best equipment operator I've ever seen cause u have a good eye on what u do cause u get on the equipment and look at what needs to be done and do it where its right on spot and that's why I like watching ur videos cause ur dam good at what u do cause I've run equipment before and u have to be good at what u do cause if not u can mess up things and have not right on spot and I watch dirt pefort videos to and he is the same way as u lol but not as good as u thanks bud for letting me watch ur videos and learn everything u do
Chris you have the same luck as me when it comes to rock. Spent the last two days hammering out a basement some of the toughest rock I’ve ever got into had the hammer on a 160 Deer with another 160 bailing
I'd hate to think what that cost instead of surveying for rock and then blasting the whole mess, like a quarry! Now that I think about it, I live in Missouri. Home of Hunt Midwest. I think the own the ketchup, but I know they own the KC Chiefs, an amusement park and a bunch of quarrys. There is a sub division about 3 miles from one quarry built in the 60s that you probably cant find a house in without a cracked foundation. There seems to be a lot of activity your area. I'd hate to take my dog there with the prices they will be charging!
There are times when I think you need a good medium sized loader. I think at times you could load out a lot faster. And if you had a quick attach on it loading logs and moving some piles would be a lot faster. But not any good in the mud I know.
Well since the hammer has not shown up yet you could start busting those rocks up with a pick like back in the old days when the old timers was looking for gold lol
Hey Chris, I watched you load several trucks, here in IL. we would have loaded from front to back. We go by the rule you can't overload the front end. I don't know what your weight rules are there in N.C., but they must be a lot heavier on the back axels. That fella with the 6 axel truck must be legally able to carry 100,000#'s. I will tell you what, I was on a haul off job, and the guy I was hauling off stopped me as I was backing in. He was panicked, He needed to go to the hospital his wife was having their baby a few weeks early. He asked if I would load the trucks for the rest of the day. He had a brand new John Deere 210g. Only 130 hrs on her. He had one of the largest buckets on that machine, and we were excavating a cut where the bottom of the tracks were about 10 feet higher than the top of the bed on the dump trucks. I must say with a huge bucket, I did not like loading trucks that far below me. I felt like I was really dumping huge amount into the bed uncontrolled. It was such a large bucket that it felt like as you stretched out the arm to fill the trucks the excavator was going to end up in the bed along with the dirt in the bucket. Got it done but I just felt uncomfortable all afternoon.
You have probably answered this before but usually what happens to all of the stuff you remove ? Is it up to you to get rid of , and it looks good as always .

That was pretty slick how you wiped the dirt off the edge of the board with the excavator @ 18:14. And didn't even scratch the paint. 😉
less skiled operators will try that too but take the entire board off with it.
The camera vantage point from 10:00 really shows what you accomplished. You dug a hole in Rock that is now acceptable to construct a building. Wow.

Them skid steers have become a great machine since they started putting tracks on em. They are much more handy with the tracks on em
