This is one of those games where the art and design is very creative, sort of reminscent of a Tim Schafer style, but the puzzles are nonsensical and just based on trial and error. Plug up the steam mounds with boxes -- ok, no problem. But, uh, why? It isn't clear until you've done it, and there's no reason to assume why you should be doing those things other than it *seems* like you can. It moves from the straightforward premise of playing hide and go seek with your brother into random tasks that move an elaborate mousetrap forward. They've got an interesting thing here, but the narrative needs to work a bit tighter with the gameplay.

This is the story I thought of just now
The neighbors family was just like any ordinay family until one day his wife got into a car accident and got the son really depressed and accidentally killed his twin/sister ( cause idk who's older) that's why the neighbour locked up his son but his son tried to escape and he did escape and left his father and some time have passed then he moved back to the town were him and his father, mother, and twin/sister lived before and saw the housed burned and new that his father might have been dead a long time ago.
It's definitely a very sad story because the character you play as in hello neighbor was the the actual villain.

Wait: I think I have a theory to this game, so when you get access to error 2, 3, And 4, when you don’t see nikki’s house and Nikki, I think that was the prequel when he moved to another neighborhood, maybe that explains why you don’t see him on stage 2, 3, And 4, And also 5, you only get to see him on stage 1, Because in hello neighbor, in act 3 he moves to another neighborhood, and the end of hello neighbor, he is putting boxes to his new house, so maybe that is the prequel to hello neighbor hide and seek.
That’s just... so sad his wife is gone and his daughter died from his son

When I got to stage 4 I could not even beat it but I finally beat it now

I first played. I thought it was the full game but it wasn’t if you had to pay for the full game and I don’t want to so and I could escape the night not the full game but thank you so much that helped.
