My biggest take away in watching this was how patient you were with her! You let her look and trot when she wanted to and didn’t rush her and she, then, wasn’t spooky! What a joy to watch a happy partnership!
Watching this again so forgive me for a second comment but you so clearly demonstrated the importance of the partnership with your horse in having the best ride - what ever that is for each of us. That you gave Addie the confidence to take decisions, IMO, sets you up so well for the next level - it’s about open communications not bossing. Thank you, as ever, for sharing.

I loved Mandy Frosts way of teaching , so nice to see positives acknowledged first up & her way of discussing any problems is a bit of fresh air . Well done you 2 , excellent work!

What a brilliant vlog Em!! It was so nice to see you seeming so much happier in yourself hun. Not that you had been looking miserable, but maybe just a bit down in yourself. But spring has sprung now and like you said that in itself makes you feel better. Plus the way Addie was would put a smile on anyone's face because she was so good bless her, no spookiness or anything. The way she came through the 'start box' was like you both meant business, not just her. So very well done to you for coming 4th individually hunny and excellent team job for winning and qualifying for the champs!!

So agree that every trainer (and training vlog or podcast for that matter) exposes you to the same things but in a different way and some connect with each of us better or not. That’s why I am so grateful for the times you take us along for your lessons.

What a great ride, I love how you think about, plan, and apply all you’ve learned. It really showed! Agree, sometimes things are said a little different,and it just clicks!

I'm so excited. I swear I saw a light bulb go off for Addie on the 3rd or 4th fence after you pulled her head up! She is so talented and smart and bold! What a great team you two are, so looking foward to your season!😊
Wow a huge well done to you and Addie. Your lessons are paying off. You rode her so well, remembering to sit quietly before the fence and allowing her to trot and look at what she was being asked to jump. Addie behaved so well too, bless her ❤

Very lovely to watch. This was a solid round to watch. You should be proud of both of yourselves. (Addie and Em) the clinic definitely clicked in both of your minds. Well deserved and well earned ma’am. Keep making those strides and setting/making goals
So nice to see this session go so well you both looked epic! Waiting for that lightbulb moment with my own riding at the moment so nice to see all the dots line up for others and put the learning into practice.

Wow that’s a massive difference! Well done the both of you ❤ and great to be putting lesson advice into action at a show which isn’t always easy in the heat of the moment. Her jump was a lot more consistent in this round too. What a buzz to then qualify as well!
