NHSGGC - STarT Back Screening Tool for Physiotherapists

This short film was developed to support Physiotherapists working within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service to use the Keele STarT Back Screening tool for patients with low back pain.
The film demonstrates how to integrate the tool into everyday practice and makes recommendations on information and advice to offer patients classed as Low Risk on the screening tool (score of 3 or less) who mainly need simple advice and self management strategies.
This film used the STarT back screening tool for low back pain developed by Keele University and drew on local research within NHSGGC carried out by Dr Derek Tobin.
