On katara being very grown up for her age. You have to remember she has been preforming the tasks of a mother for alot of her life especially after her father left. She had to grow up, that is the cost of growing up in a war torn world.

Yess! Zhao did say he found it in an ancient library in the Earth Kingdom. Little did we know it was this, back then. It's pretty cool how they thought everything through from beginning to end.
They even tie this episode to s3ep19 but i obvi wont say how so people reading this that havent seen all episodes dont get spoiled. What i will say is that L&M kept parts of the very short scene in the youtube video but it is way easier to catch if you watch the whole episode

You feel bad for Toph because she had a hard choice to make but she made it and honestly I think she chose right. It was either hold up the library and hope Appa could fight off the sandbenders alone or the others that the others come out in time to help but risking Appa getting captured. But if thay happened at least the rest if team is safe and can all find Appa together. Or help Appa fight off the sandbenders fast enough to hold up the library again and save the others but risk taking too long and the team ends up buried alive and she would be unable to get them out then they would be dead and Toph would be alone in the desert with Appa and the plans to save the world go kaput. Classic risk or reward situations, weighing the options. If anything Sokka is a little responsible for this. If the Owl didn't overhear him then he wouldn't have tried to sink the library and Toph could've helped fight off the sandbenders to save Appa and gotten the others for help without worrying about holding up the library. That dude seriously needs to learn to keep his damn mouth shut cause this ain't the first and last time he makes this dumb mistake.

It's good to point out the age of the main characters that there all young under the age of 16. Use fans r mistaken to compare them to our present time because ATLA represents the time during European Pirates and Viking raids when children were systematically raised to be swordman or archers by 10 or younger.
They should have just acknowledged that they were searching for information on the fire nation so that the avatar can restore balance. He would probably have understood, especially given the previous attack by Zhao.
i think without iroh zuko would be azula version 0.5.. just as messed up but less competent... and i also always hated how much they pick on sokka.. e.g. when they left the water tribe everyone got a present except.. yeah u guessed right or now wan shi tong.. come on special knots are knowledge.. there are special knots in nautics like the "bowline", "stopper knot" or the "clove hitch" and many more..there are also special knots in other professions like climbing.. there are even just decorative knots like a crown sinnet.. so acting as if a special knot isn't knowledge worth sharing is stupid af and someone who values knowledge should not disregard it with such harsh words

We only see part of that scene here; when we see other parts of it later, we see that he did try to fly, but the sandbenders were able to hold him down by anchoring themselves to the sand. As for why he didn't fly away before they put any ropes on him in the first place, my guess is it's because he just didn't know they were coming after him specifically. He was preparing to fight or scare them off, and he may have been worried they'd go after Toph if he flew away. He's also never been tied down before, I don't think, so he just didn't expect it.
