Had the most beautiful holiday here 35 years ago in Noussa fell completely in love with the island, the Greek people were absolutely so lovely, when I think of Paros and Noussa I remember how utterly unspoilt it was Can never go back It is so built up now. Our villa was in the middle of nowhere with goats for neighbours and a beautiful farmer would ride by every morning on his donkey and bid us Kalimera. There was a vineyard next to the villa which ran down to the most perfect beach Ahh lovely to see it here still
I was there 30 years ago and I don't even recognize much of anything in this video. It has really grown. Back then it had a much more "local" vibe. There were still a lot of Greeks living there doing their thing. Now it seems 100% tourist. Also back then, the city center had a much more "party" vibe.
I loved watching this walk. The white painted cobblestones, houses & businesses with the blue accents are breathtaking. The island is so clean. Thanks for walking out on the pier to the ancient castle. I love the history .

Stunning! I added Naousa to my travel destinations after your clip. With Parikia, I believe, it will be a wonderful trip. Last year we went to Skiathos. This June, Barcelona is the destination. Paros might be the destination for September. Thanks for this beautiful video!
Glad we are out of Paprika, Greece. That is a hop and a skip away from Nausea, Greece, all clustered on the island of Paros[?] Population of Nausea, Greece= 2870 Number of boats in Nausea harbor= 6788 Number of tourists= scarce, some visible. Guess all the fish brought in means everyone and his brother on Nausea is consuming fish 5 times a day. That's not counting the rubbery octopuses hung out to dry. [meaning the town smells of drying octopuses]. Oh well. As Pythia, Herself, said, 'done gone be a Time Machine stuck in them Cyclades in the summer of 2021." Oops! Pythia was the high priestess at the Oracle at Delphi,...2500 years ago. She was pretty accurate. Hunh!

I would like to praise your camera work (the steadiness, the pace, the movements etc) and your audio quality. El hándicap de estos pueblos tan turísticos es que al convertirse en puro negocio de cara al turismo van perdiendo la esencia de la cultura, las constumbres, la vida pueblerina normal de los habitantes , es como q poco a poco se van convirtiendo en un gran centro comercial. Aún así de momento no han perdido su gran encanto.
Gracias por compartir la historia. Es increíble la cantidad de eventos trágicos por los que han pasado estos pueblos, pero al final han conformado su historia.
