Great review. Watching this answered a lot of questions. Most of all I love your clarity of speech, even with that mask over your mouth. Respect and appreciation to you.
Great, GREAT review, to the point and excellently explained, you touched pivotal points on the Vespa, the lack of space, the balance and that you cannot do things like in a bigger bike. Bro, you've earned a subscriber. Greetings from Colombia! 🇨🇴
I own two Ducati and still keep one of these as a daily. Perfect for Manhattan commute to the office (not since the covid 🙄) and she can hold a ton of cargo plus seat a date comfortably behind me. Trust me guys, she’d rather be sitting on some genuine Italian hardware than she would some APAC plastic alternative with next to no torque. Get one.
StBMW I thought it would bcs I usually drive Sport Supersport bikes Ducati Triumph mainly but since got my Vespa I’m only drive my Vespa 300 so much more comfy fun and regards to wheel I had same question before I got My Vespa but it’s NO issue they are super stable doesn’t feel any diffrence to the big bikes my opinion. Even if tires smaller one does not feel that at all the handling excellent with Vespa.
Awesome review man, I'm saving for a liberty 50, but I'm hoping I have enough for a primavera 50 by next year when my saving is finished, very hard but at least the liberty kind of looks like a sports vespa
Wow! My Dad's elder brother had a 1970 Vespa 150 that we rode until 2001. I was then shifting from Madras back to my hometown Hyderabad so I gifted her to my mechanic. She had 3 gears yet in Hyderabad and Madras traffic 2nd gear was all we could manage to shift to. But in 3rd she could drive as slowly as 20 kmph. And she still gave over 40 kilometres per litre. She was such a sweet forgiving machine. My two younger brothers and I learnt to ride manual shifts on her. Corradino D'Ascanio, God bless his soul, will never know how much he has benefitted millions of people in convenience and pleasure.
Have Vespa put a cut out switch on the side stand, which is standard on most motorcycles now. This means that the engine cannot be started with the side stand down - a safety feature. My 10 year old Vespa 300GTS has a side stand that automatically retracts when you get on and pull the bike upright.
I don't own one (I own a Sprint 150 tho) but I borrowed my friend's for a short ride. It's not as fast nor as agile as XMAX but somewhat it feels zippy for city commuting. Shame it's not practical enough for grocery shopping and long range riding unlike its japanese rivals.
Delan Aryo H. Kindly share your review on your Sprint 150. I’m contemplating to get the Sprint 150 S after the ECQ for a daily driver of about 50km back and forth.
@@Cpt.LuckyMan Well, mine is an older one (2015, the 3V model). The older models have a rattle-y engine (though it is easily solved with any variator kit and clutch, i use Malossi's), unlike the newer, i-Get ones. Handling is good, though you might want to use a good tires if you like maneuvering (I personally use Pirelli Diablo Scooter and was able to lean as much as 37 degrees). Suspensions are comfortable enough, so does the saddle. It handles bump surprisingly better than regular telescopic fork on japanese scooter. As for daily commuting, I also use mine for it too and i can say that it is more comfortable than equivalent japanese scooter, though for grocery shopping it doesn't fare too well as its underseat storage is quite small (you can't fit a full-face helmet there, only half and quarter). But for me the most charming point is the styling. You can't find another scooter that looks as good as a Vespa.
Hello from WA State. Filipinos are the best motorcyclist and car drivers considering the congestion and the free for all Manila driving. So when I am at my home condo at ADB Avenue Pasig I have always took taxis, uber or friend/relatives driving me around.
@@calgary2800 I also live fulltime in Seattle. I hardly drive in the city, parking is rough and expensive, besides a lot of bus, monorail, light rail, or uber/taxi. But we also have a house outside of Seattle, there I ride an electric Vespa Chinese copy moped between our house and another property. Less traffic in the rural area. Eventually I'll buy a real Vespa just for fun.
I own a Vespa Primavera 150cc and love it! I use it for in town and also to the beach 🏖. I also own a Harley-Davidson Rod King that I also love but the Vespa(Wasp)gives me better fuel ⛽️ mileage.

The underseat luggage should be redesign to store fullface helmet, because this machine is very fast & powerfull. It'll very dangerous if only wearing half face helmet.

I don't think this scooter comes with training wheels, Caco.

Looks like the Philippines gets shorty mirrors. In the US, ours stick out past the handlebars, which make splitting more challenging.
