I was going to point that out, too. He was always doing _what_ he was told to do, but sometimes he helped by adjusting slightly _how_ he did it to make it very fluent and satisfying, like when he used the magnifying glass or the mirror. Really great job.

"Can we smash the bottle?" *WHAM* I know the agent knows it wouldn't, but definitely a great moment with no hesitation.
I love there reaction to hitting the bottle just for it to be fake
Stuff like that always make me wonder. Were they smart enough to get a plastic bottle from the get-go or did they learn the hard way?
I literally watched through the whole video second for second just for this. 100% worth it

totally agree, I thought it would be 'meh' but I was so wrong!
In a way there's a slight advantage since the field agent has probably done it before and knows the correct solutions so he can sort of help things along a bit in places where they might have missed something just because they didn't finagle something the right way.
@@grn1 Definitely noticed a couple times where the agent looked somewhere to give them a hint. One example would be panning the camera right over the Monet book when no one saw it. Still though, that seems like a lot of fun.
@@Cylluus the thing is, normally there's a chance they'd have noticed it, but since they gotta move the agent instead of freely moving, they don't bother moving him too much and try to focus on one task at hand, normally I believe they wouldn't even need help finding that book
Small detail. But the fact that Alex didn’t mute his mic in the beginning, and Chris paused and played it so that it synced up? That was really dope to me 😂👏🏽

Honestly, for things like this, every single one of them should have had a headset with mic instead of using the webcam mic.
This would have made it much easier and prevented the echo from happening.

You know, when I first heard "virtual escape room" and saw it wasn't in VR, I did not think it was going to actually be fun or nearly as interesting as it turned out. This was hella good.
I thought the same thing except without the assumption it would be a virtual reality game.
It's amazing that you can do these rooms virtually now. This enables people to have a really great experience and fun without endangering themselves or others. Additionally this could make these escape games much more accessible for people who are physically handicapped.

It's funny how they started as video games and then they built them irl, and then we're digitizing them again :P
You can also experience with friends in other physical locations. You don't have to be in the same city to do something together.
I would say the only downside to such things is that it will 100% remove the real life ones in the future, which means no real human contact. Last time I checked, humans need real human contact -- that's why they became so popular in the first place. Also, I don't know if you have noticed but since around 2012, humans in the far-West, at least, have not been having much real contact due to social media, video games, and so on, and this is creating real problems, including things like the complete inability to be in the real world or intact with real human beings without crying like a child, as is now common for 15-25-year-olds and will only get worse into the next generation (more so now due to the virtual schooling, virtual/home-based jobs, and big plans from certain bodies and parties to complete remove offices). It seems like we are heading for 'please don't show me another human ever again' over the next 10-20 years if we are not careful. Japan is doing that, and it's killing their entire population as there is literally a name for a certain thing males do in Japan which translates to 'stay inside for 2 months eating noodles, playing games, without ever leaving the house', and studies show the Japanese won't exist by 2100-2150 due to lack of new births, and soon they will be at all-time low population rates, and it only took them 50 years since the digital age, so now picture another 50 years of this... goodbye to society. Other than that, these video game simulations, etc. are great.

I support the "Virtual Escape Room" idea for those who are physically handicapped. For the rest of you imbeciles... put a helmet on! Wii wouldn't stand for anyone "endangering themselves or others" by breaking thumbs while landing on Uranus.

As I was watching this video, I was like "hmmm....this room seems very similar to the very first escape room I did when I visited Nashville." Low and behold, it is the same room! Good job to this company for implementing this cool virtual version of their already awesome escape room.

I work at this company and I just wanna say thank you for helping us get the word out about our remote adventures! I've been both a host and the Field Guide for this (and our other remote adventures) and it was so much fun to see it from an outside perspective.

Imagine this, but the "field agent" has one of those 360 degree VR cameras. The players at home could wear their VR headset/phone VR setup and could all separately look anywhere in the room any time they want. HELL, you don't even need a VR helmet to enjoy a 360 video, you can watch them just fine on a monitor with a mouse to look around.
Another thing that would be awesome (but way more expensive) would be having a robot with a 360° camera in the room that you could control while wearing a VR headset.

This was amazing!! Ugh you guys have to go back and do another one! You all played such important roles in solving the heist! At the same time I could see that you guys are magicians and didn’t trust anything at face value. It made me smile the entire time because you guys have a edge up with puzzles and tricks. Every time I’ve done a room like that we haven’t completed it. So bravo guys!
