None of these people have anything to do with Evanescence anymore. Just because they have the same style doesn't mean everyone should pick a side. They aren't in a war. Carly Smithson did nothing to deserve to burn in hell. Being in a band similar to Evanescence is not a crime against humanity. No one says Nightwish is so good so Within Temptation should fucking burn in hell because they are a symphonic metal band that is not Nightwish. That's basically what you guys are saying. Why can't people just enjoy the music? And if you don't like this song, don't comment.

We Are The Fallen is a good band but, Evanescence is way better in my opinion.
Of course We Are The Fallen and Evanescence are the same Band members thats why they are good. The difference only is the Vocalist. From Amy to Carly.

This woman can sing, obviously. The song actually is pretty fucking good, in my opinion at least. I don't really get the fights between WATF fans and Evanescence fans. Amy and Carly both obviously are great singers, but why fight about "who is better"? It doesn't make a lot of sense.

We Are The Fallen drew more from Sabbath with the guitar riffing as their album was one of the darkest mainstream releases in 2010 as I got Ray R. Wise of Grigori 3 and Scott Davidson of Rebel Radio checking them out. Their cover designer worked with Novembers Doom and Tourniquet.
How about the people that don't like (We Are) The Fallen stop youtubing these guys and let fans who are less judgemental of people trying to express themselves enjoy the music without having to defend themselves.

Carly Smithson and Amy Lee have different voices meant for different types of songs. They're both fantastic in their own rights, as long as they're singing their respective songs. While Amy Lee can hit an impressively high notes, Carly seems to be more adept to singing full-body from the diaphragm... the music is similar but completely different. Personally, I think that Carly seems to put more soul and passion into her singing, and the subtle differences make me like We Are The Fallen more.

All of you Amy Lee fans are a fail when watch a We are the Fallen video, Ben Moody is the father of Evanescence for you to know, and all quit Evanescence because that band is only about Amy lee. Amy kick ass singing but Ben and the others left her for many reasons
To each his own, I suppose. I love Amy Lee and Evanescence as well as Carly and We Are the Fallen, and I have to say that We Are the Fallen seems to be more genuine, if you get what I mean. Probably because Wind-Up and EMI can be very stiff labels to work with, but WATF seems less tampered by post-production glitz and overproduced hyped-up commercialism. Not that any of that is inherently wrong or even Evanescence's fault, I just prefer the purity of We Are the Fallen (among many other things).

They DO still exist, they have just been on break for a while now. Carly had her baby and toured with Cirque du Soleil, so she was really busy last year. They're working on a second album now, though there havn't been any official details released yet. They're coming back for blood, you can count on that! :)

I have seen a lot of comments on this video saying they hate it because "it is an Evanescence clone." In truth it isn't. Ben Moody left the band almost 5 years ago and when he left their music slipped down hill. He wrote or co-wrote almost all the songs on Fallen & I am excited to see him with a band again. As far as people hating on this band because it is similar to Evanescence, Why can't you like both? If you like Evanescence enjoy the fact that there is another band with a similar sound

Not true, actually :) Autotune has so many other uses besides correcting pitch. Amy doesn't use it as a crutch, she uses it as a musical tool to make the studio versions sound edgy and polished. Carly uses it in creative ways also, but she doesn't change the overall tone of her voice. Autotune isn't inherently bad, it just has to be used as a tool instead of a crutch :)
Evanescence and We Are The Fallen do have something in common. Ben Moody was the songwriting genius for both bands.
@PinkLuchiaNanami1 The band is named after that album...the Co-Founder of Evanescence felt like after 'Fallen' they started to lose what they were all about...so this band is basically trying to follow in Fallens footsteps...and i think they do a good job

i've gotta say that i've been a fan of Evanescence ever since i've heard Bringing Me to Life for the first time, i've followed them ever since, and though they've had their ups and downs, Evanescence will remain TOP-NOTCH...after listening to We Are the Fallen for the past hour, i can only hope they are not trying to recreate the sound Amy Lee could only have. I was a fan of Carly on American Idol. I never thought Ben Moody, her and the others would actually be putting this together...

To be honest.. I was a little on edge about this whole band. I love Evanescence and hearing that Ben made his own band made me spaz a bit. But now that I hear the song I feel like smacking myself across the face for how I reacted. I like this song actually. I do also love Evanescence but We Are The Fallen might be next to them on my fav bands list. I am anxiously awaiting the next song by this upcoming wonderous band :D

This is an excellent album.... Carly has a superb voice.... this is 2010.... almost 2011... Fallen was released in 2003.... Move on people.... Amy & Ben have.... Wait & see what the new Evanescence album brings....
