Yeah I have seen on the forum people playing with both 1 and 2 start lead screws due to the extra weight of the LR3 gantry depending on spindle and extras you might have.

Neat MPCNC build, and neat leadscrew upgrade. Will do this for my LowRider3 as well for similar reasons. Cheers!

The Z on my LR3 also drops. It’s a cushy kind of release that just settles on the bottom of the screw. I may look into this as well.
