I bought my first mountain bike in 1982, I remember the push back from hikers at the time. With that said, slow down around pedestrians. Just be respectful, if not the Karen's are going to rage for restrictive e-bike laws.
I Agree 100% !!!! I ride normal bike every day and it’s really comes down to respect for others. In golden gate park people on electric bikes ride like idiots super fast and you can’t hear them really so it’s not safe to ride fast up onto people on a regular bike .
Yeah ill slow down but Karen's shouldn't be writing laws in the first place. If a pedestrian gets hit, they can sue and whoever is there can rightfully kick the riders ass. Im pretty sure that's common law.
@@absolute757 From what I have seen these guys are very respectful. Being on a pedestrian trail you should have a spotter in the front at all times. A small child could get killed if they run out in front of the bike. Hit the wrong man's family and you could end up losing yours.
One thing I would recommend is keeping the stunting on major highways around a bunch of people to a minimum. If only to keep us off the radar… we don’t need anti-us laws coming our way.
@@tiger05rtc Brah you piss off one officer, they know know what you look like. They know what bike you have. Even if you escape, the next time you do it they will be ready for you and then you get jail time if you keep it up. You HAVE to worry about laws. With today's technology, you won't get away with jack shit.
This is exactly why I sold my dirt bikes and four wheelers. Less and less places to ride, and way too many negative encounters. Even when riding responsibly and being courteous to others, we get a hassle. All the legal trails get shut down because of guys breaking the rules and being disrespectful. I now have to drive a minimum of 3 hours to get to trails to ride… just not worth it anymore.
I sold my big dirt bike because I needed so much space to have any fun and got a little yamaha 125 big wheel and just made a couple of pit bike tracks on my own land. Then I paid 3x as much for an E-MTB so I could peddle my heavy ass all over the hike/bike trails.
Same here in the UK, it's all the rich boomers, they've bought up all the property so nobody younger can afford shit because we pay their mortgages for them, getting by is a struggle like it's never been, so you try to get out in nature to have fun with your hobbies, you're respectful, safe, courteous and these same people abuse and harass everyone out of public spaces using the state that's made them so privileged as their weapon, because "MINE MINE MINE" Not all but a lot of, selfish, entitled af people from that generation who stole their kids futures and now want their kids out of their recreational areas. Perhaps the very sight of younger generations reminds them deep down of how rich they got cannibalising the financial futures of subsequent generations. I can't even kayak down river without some boomer fisherman screaming totally unnecessary, disproportionate abuse at me because it's 'his river'. I wish I had skin thick enough to not GAF but it causes me more stress than it's worth these days, so my hobbies are now largely confined to staying in and keeping tf away from society, and they wonder why there's a suicide epidemic in younger people, no in fact THEY don't, they just say we're weak, 'because iphones & netflix, oh and don't forget dem damned immigants'. Those people turned me misanthropist, a totally natural reaction to an overly powerful, overly privileged section of society that's both selfish, & ignorant af.
Hey man, chill out with the open areas this is a good thing that we are starting to enjoy. Just listen to the police man. Ok dude I love the sur ron and think you should be able to ride it but you can't say its a 20mph class 2 ebike when it isn't then get mad that the cops called you out
So true. Even with random people I have been stopped many time by kids that seemed genuinely interested in the bike but then they start asking sketchy questions and I’ve felt threatened many times as if I was about to be jumped and it was gonna get stolen.
Cannot stress this enough. I usually like talking with everyone and chatting. But I now just ignore people And keep rolling. Too many sketchy incidents where I don’t trust anyone anymore.
That dude was a Karen for sure but he was not wrong. All of our MTB trails in central Oregon have 'No E bikes' signs, I think that's what that Karen meant by "our trails". I have a dual sport and would love to get an e bike, I love it all but If you're riding on designated MTB trails that's not cool.
I’ve been riding mountain bikes for over 20 years. Now I ride an e-mtn bike. Mostly cuz I’m older now and I want to ride for fun, not a workout. I get guys saying shit to me, even though I’m actually riding slower in most cases than I did before. I stop for horses, I slow down for other riders and pedestrians. There’s no reason to regulate any ebike from any trail. The laws were imposed by city councils who don’t understand that this is the wave of the future. Ignorance. Having said all that, posting videos of you doing wheelies on trails ain’t gonna help the cause. They’ll just ban all ebikes from all trails, all it’ll take is one rider to cause an accident or run into a horse.
They already are banning us dirtbike riders from trails we made that Mtb riders now took over. I still ride them and don't care what anyone says. If you have a problem too bad I was here first.
@@xafbxmoto269 I don’t have a problem with that. I used to ride dirt bikes too. Ride responsibly and have fun. Slow down when passing. Share the trails. Everyone has fun.
@@xafbxmoto269 You made? Trails through public lands should be planned by people who understand the environment not kids who parents could afford dirt bikes. I don't mean any offence but did you consider erosion when you cut them at whatever age you were? When I was young we (with permission cut horse trails through park land/wild woodland. About a decade later the neighborhood grew up and kids with dirt bikes found the trails and started riding them even though they weren't supposed to. I didn't care I liked bikes but then a few years latter the hills started becoming impassable due to erosion following the bike tracks. Horses don't make canals that allow water to flow unimpeded they make round holes that catch water. This is why many woodlands have banned wheeled vehicles.
@@ghz24 For one horses are more expensive then dirt bikes. For two,who did you ask permission from? Dirtbike riders have been working with forestry for years way before Mtb were invented. That was my point. As for the erosion I'm pretty sure housing developments and paving over beautiful mountains and valleys is worse then dirtbike trails through the woods.
@@xafbxmoto269 We got permission from the county park and pleasure district that owns the land. I was young so not sure if it was specifically granted or just checked for allowed use. Likely the latter because the parents bought the land nearby partly due to the park land being an 1/8th mile down the way. Nice perk if you want people to board their horses at your stables. Lots of the trails farther away were on private land that they had to hunt down the owner to ask permission, mostly farmers who farmed the flat bottom land but owned the surrounding wooded hills as well. I do get your point cutting and maintaining trails is work. Over development is bad but dirt bikes can reach and damage areas that won't be developed anytime soon if ever. I do think there should be areas designated and developed for dirt bikes. If they have nowhere to legitimately ride they will go everywhere/anywhere to ride. I don't see why mtn bikes and dirt bikes can't use the same trails and I can understand why both might not appreciate horses using them. I don't understand the rub between the two kinds of bikes. Maybe drawing unwanted attention. I don't see why these bikes would be banned from the first paved trails they were on, providing they mostly keep to speed limits and don't interfere with it's intended use. I really hope inconsiderate people don't ruin e-bikes being allowed on parkland bicycle trails, the behavior of these riders is a threat to continued access for people who aren't interested in how fast or crazy they can ride.
As a Suron owner for years I agree with many people here that you are shooting yourself and fellow Suronsters in the foot when you show out like that in the wrong places. I've ridden that trail and many others and never had a negative encounter. Many people even stop me to ask about the bikes- cops included. I believe the reason is I respect others right to enjoy the environment in there way. Posting it here doesn't help the cause. I'd hate to be restricted on my Suron because of stuff like this. Please think about it and chill out. There's a time and place for everything. Enjoy.
It doesn't matter, the police and government will always look for a way to pluck you in the gas no matter what. Their job is to control. Either push back on them or let them walk over you. Your choice. Over regulated nanny state

These things are pretty cool and I wouldnt mind having one but in defense of the cop, she was cool for letting you "walk" them back up. You guys mashing every chance you get , busting wheelies and flying by peds and cyclists isn't helping your cause . Keep it chill.
To be fair to the darren, if you were taking those up and down mountain biking trails that would tear the trail up pretty quick. Theres a reason dirt bikes aren't allowed on them either. People volunteer and work their ass off to make those trails so don't be a dick about it. That said, that guy could have been way more chill about it.
The problem here Matthew is that the guy who was not “chilled”is dealing with a bunch of disrespectful, illegal ,prats who shouldn’t be anywhere near those trails and dont have any right to be on the roads either.
@@ericbana355 You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. The guy didnt even try to explain why powered bikes arent supposed to be on those trails, just instantly escalated the situation to yelling. If they told him to pound sand then sure get pissed off, but that's not what happened at all.
There are mtb guys that do build off-trail single tracks, and they get established.. But yeah then they think they own them afterwards. Some of these same guys bike on muddy wet trails and destroy them. Horses will and can destroy the shit out a wet trail too. That guy was a whiny poosie though.. Out of touch dork. Trails are meant to be enjoyed and shared. Ebikes make little to no impact on a trail. They are the future; and they are a ton of fun.
@@AaronX442 yeh. i think people on ebikes should me a little mindful because they're capable of really eating up the trails. but a better way for someone to approach would've been asking them to take it easy or stay off politely with explanation. one day itll be the ebike people carving trails tho and itll all come full circle.
@@nekowife Agree one hundo. I'm in the process of building another trail bike. It's gonna be a bit of a piggy. 80lbs ish, 5000kw rear. Trail maintenance and care I think is what this all boils down to IMO. But agree, get a shitbird who gives zero fukks about tearing up stuff on a new ebike.. And it ruins it for everybody. Where do you ride?
While I don’t like the way the Mountainbiker talked to you guys I kinda understand why he is pissed. Building a trail is a ton of work and by riding them with motor-bikes the trail gets damaged because of the high torque and the higher weight. That’s what I guess is what the biker was pissed about
F the biker. Im a moutain biker and not a c$nt. But also im into dirtbiks and mma and would love to see the look on his face after a sudden overhand right to his kisser
As someone who rides all these streets and trails, I would suggest being more low-key because pedestrians tend to get upset. I for one, wouldn't like to have these bikes coming through the canyon when I'm on my mtb. Just be respectful
Agree 💯 especially if you and your boys are the ones digging and maintaining to trail. These bikes are sick AF . As I see more footage of these e-motos on the trails seams that none of them are respecting the hard work that has been put into it. . Clearly we all ride here.
there wont be any respect or consideration for the risks to others, there are way too many people who dont use these ebikes/motos than ones that do, and of those, most will be looking to upgrade volts and amps etc to make them faster and then go out and wheelie streets, start whipping down mtb routes and ped trails etc and arguing with people and throwing karen insults about they are just bikes.. and then new laws will likely put a lid on stuff and everyone loses out. everyones a karen until things dont go to plan.. wonder if anyones ever hit karens child with an emoto like these and experienced an unexpected side effect of that - wonder if their emoto is still at the scene its always been that way, the attention seeking minority always mess it up for everyone else
@@MTBSHOGUN I guess, but there maintained but the state and as a lot of trails are now paved like this one there legally allowed on it also there is no right way to respect a trail doing wheelies is no different that riding flat its just a trick.
Let’s not Fk this up for the rest of us e-bike riders. Keep vigilant for pedestrians and keep it slow anywhere near them or near curves. We don’t want these banned and enforced
From Sur Ron’s site: “Up to 40mph” not a bicycle. Also from their site: “Surrron has a team of top motorcycle engineers who made it their passion to make the Light Bee the best lightweight electric motorcycle ever made.”
Come on, let's be real, these are motorcycles. And I own a motorcycle and a fast ebike. I would never dream of taking my ebike on a running / cycling track at anything over 20mph. One time i was jogging and some asshole passed me on an ebike going 25-30. Wanted to punch him in the face.
To be fair, bikers are not too keen on electric MTB's as well. Basically, anything motorized on the trails since it tears up the trails faster. Being low key is definitely a factor.
Walkers ain't happy with bicycles either, everyone want's the space for themselves and their preferred way of enjoying it, just the older the mode of moving though these landscapes the more entitled those people using that mode feel to the space. There's enough space out there for everyone but human mentality on the most part is like toddlers screaming 'MINE', selfishness & entitlement. Which is, at it's root, why wars start and people kill other human beings, it's something we need to all be more aware of and keep in check but it's never going to happen. I don't like horses, I find them intimidating on trails but I respect their right to the space, shame it's rarely reciprocated.
@@10aDowningStreet I've found in my experience that walkers/hikers are the worst offenders when it comes to trail etiquette. I'll run into them on obvious dedicated bike trails, walking 4,5,6 abreast blocking the trail. Even on the coastal bike trails (The Strand), they choose to walk in the bike lanes rather than the pedestrian lanes provided to them. They'll walk right across you without looking and then freak out when you ring your bell or call out your intention to pass...in the bike lane. The point is that even walkers aren't innocent. All we can be is considerate out on the trails.
First.. Love the electric bikes and your rights to ride. But you bring attention towards yourself and eventually will be the reason Karen wins and gets you banned. You are constantly on one wheel and running stop signs on public roads.
And I do not understand why people don't care about that...this is why we need rules ...young guys just do not care...all they care Bout is having fun...
Besides that as a suron owner and owner of zero Electric dirt bikes I ride only in OHV designated areas. I don't understand why these guys ride dirt bikes on the pavement all the time when they're designed for off-road use and it's illegal to use on streets.
You can’t get pissed when you say it’s a 20mph bike and she’s reading you the rules when it’s clearly not a 20mph bike and has been modded as you said at the beginning of the video. If you are going to try and pull a fast one take the dent when it doesn’t work out.

The secret is out. These things are well outside the class 2 ratings and require registration and all the requirements to ride on the roads. You can forget about bike paths and mountain bike trails too. Don’t blame me I’m just the messenger and not pulling wheelies on public roads. Start expecting tickets.
@@ExelArts a class 2 ebike has a throttle but maxes out at 20mph. If it goes faster it's considered an electric moped and can't be ridden on trails and needs registration and motorcycle endorsement or motorcycle license. Class 3 can go 28mph but has peddle assist.
You look at it as an Type 2 E-Bike/Type 3 E-Bike. But with no pedals, its not a bike, its a motor vehicle. At least in Europe and in some states in the US. And Luckily motor vechiles are NOT allowed on MTB trails and trails as a general. So.. the MTB dude you discuss with.. got a valid point. Also since most MTB trails are build and maintained by volunteers. But the Sur Ron sure are a lot of fun.
When the moped craze hit the US.. it was the same way. there were no laws concerning mopeds... YET... Under 50cc... no license plate, no insurance, no age limits... it lasted for about 4 years.
Taken from the offical site. IMPORTANT NOTE: These bikes are shipped limited to lower speed/power to make them road legal in most states (in road legal mode this bike also has over 40 miles of range), a 5 minute modification will take all limits off the bike to make it power and speed unlimited and illegal for road use in most states. (Some users report success working with Dirt Legal to get their bikes plated for road use at full power. Please note if you ride on the road it is at your own risk) It comes as a class 3 ebike aka 25-28mph but if you do mods like these guys its now non legal off road use only aka your own property. And they get mad the police pulls then over lol. Get that shit road legal and class it as an electric motor cycle to the dmv thats how people do it.
as a mountain biker, we really dont care if e bikes are on the trails, as long as they dont completely destroy them by spinning on berms and making groves in the ground
Aslong as the don't collide with an innocent child and kill them they won't have a problem. If they go as fast as a car they should pay registration and insurance and have plates to identify themselves. I remeber the time I went on a roller coaster after a meal and 8 beers, I vomited all over some e-biker in front of me and made a poo in my pants but they were okay about it. Most e- bikers are cool.

First off, I can’t wait to get a SurRon. Absolutely looks DOPE!!! Seriously though, pissing off people while trying to introduce a new way of transportation isn’t going to help the laws brought down in the future. The SurRon definitely is a game changer and that’s why it’s in a gray area, right now. Will it have to be registered and street legal? Will it be excepted on bicycle trails? All up in the air.
Shit like this is why I don't hang out with other cyclists. Road rage definitely translates to bicycles and I am not for dealing with petty drivers on any vehicle. I avoid people as often as possible.
When Sur-ron's first came out you could get on the trails with not much hassle but now the class2 ebike 750w is not going to fly. I just licensed mine as moped had to add brake lights, mirrors, etc and keep it under 30mph. A M1 or M2 driver license is required. I have Mt. bikes too so I just keep clear of those trails when I hit the dirt. Got to admit it's a lot of fun.
Yeah i was really wondering how the heck these pass as 750w when the product page says 3kw/6kw peak stock. You wouldn't see performance anywhere near what they're showing on a lightweight road bike putting 750w through the crank. And that's without a metal frame, batteries, motor etc

@@tb3780 I have lots of respect for all forms of riding on two wheels. We just all have to do our best to be respectful to others out there. Electric bikes are in great for people with disabilities and people that are not fit for riding a regular bike. It is hard to really qualify Sur Ron’s as a E bike. Modern E bikes are there for a pedal assist not a crank the throttle and go sorta thing. More like an Electric Moto. Nothing wrong with that, but there are reasons that regular Moto’s ain’t permitted on single track trails. This class of ebike that’s not a pedal asset it’s tearing up trails, which isn’t cool for those of us that are big into the biking community
@@absolute757 Dirt loosens up in general even with regular bikes. Dirt bikes have the potent to add wear onto trails faster. Look at a motocross track and the ruts that form there. It’s very hard for pedal bike users to make ruts in trails. Those ruts once formed on single track leads to trail erosion which is difficult to maintain, and most of the time just have nasty water sits in them. Trails sometimes stay unmaintained for long periods of time. Which is frustrating for those that try there best to keep the trails clean, smooth, fun to ride. The MTB community has put lots of money and many man hours to help support trail building and maintain.
They don't but the cop also doesn't know the law. If they were actually class 2 and they still looked like "dirt bikes" she would still told them they couldn't ride the trail, by her logic any motorize vehicle is not allowed.
I used to mountain bike in Wales, but too many Karrons were moaning and vandalising my car. In Scotland even Karen mounting bikes! Best move I ever made.
72v is pushing up to 13,000, but you can set different modes with limited output to put it at 750w. Each state has different laws and some only restrict the speed. But majority require pedals to be functional, and that's when you get the kaniwaba pedal kit that can actually move the bike

The cop would have deserved the sad-trombone if she was wrong about the need for an M1 and a license plate, but she wasn't. Sure, if any of you were actually riding a class 2 ebike with a top speed of 20mph, or a pedal-assisted class 3 ebike that tops out at 28mph. But since NONE of you were on an actual ebike with pedals as described in the law, it basically says you must be on a moped. Whether you like that classification or not. Sorry!

I’ve been a mountain biker for most of my life, and only recently have seen e-bikes on my local trails, in fact I have seen a guy on a sur ron at my local park. I personally hate it when someone is going down trails I’ve labored over for years with nothing but a throttle and motor. (Most of my trails have forbidden the use of motor operated vehicles) I hike the same trails when it rains or when my bike is broken, and I do get where most hikers come from with the whole “trail bike takeover.” The “Darren” guy was a total dickhead but I get where he comes from. Other than that, I actually think throttle e bikes are really awesome.

You guys are the reason why we have so many laws to spell out every little problem that might happen. You push right up to the limit of the law and then bend the law to see what breaks first and use the "we didn't know" excuse so much that police discretion can't be used(classic: you saw lots of other ebikes riding the trail therefore yours is probably(maybe) fine too.)
I kinda understand how the mountain bike rider feels, even other mountain bikers can easily destroy trails and its unfortunate. I know a lot of these trails are maintained by volunteer groups (most of which are other mountain bikers) and it can be a lot of work to keep them in nice conditions. I personally think any kind of electric bike should be kept off of them just because a lot of people do abuse the trails and they can cause a lot of damage quickly. This is just my opinion so feel free to not get your panties in a twist when reading it.
I don't understand why you can't ride your bike on those trails. The trails look like they are paved. It's not like you're going to damage the trail with your bike.

They knew their rights, and yet they second guessed themselves. As funny as the edits are, they don't change the fact that if you can't prove yourself legally, the cops can easily bust you for crimes you didn't even commit. This is why the 5th amendment is a thing. Sometimes it's better to just STAY QUIET. That being said, they seemed legitimately concerned and confused. Perhaps this officer dude should have gone easier on them. Still, let this be a lesson to cyclists that ebikes aren't often respected or understood by law enforcement, so you best lay low or drive slow, or learn how to stand up for yourself 😂 Yes, standing up to the cops is a skill everyone should learn, as important as following the law.
I am all for you guys having fun. And I really don’t like people harassing you for no reason. But a lot of the time you guys kind of give them a reason. Another awesome video. It does beg the biggest question / challenge we face with Surrons - We have no legitimate way to register them to become legal. If anyone outside of CA has figured out a way, I’d love to hear about it. I’m in FL btw.
Some states like montana let you apply for a vin number which you could then use to register them. Some people did that with those motorized bike kits.
In CO, you change the VIN to 17 digits, add a mirror and a brake light, stop by State Patrol, and you get registered with a plate. You DO need a motorcycle endorsement on your license. Then, if you also want to ride off-road, you get a cheap annual OHV permit. Between the two, you can go anywhere. Did exactly all that on my 5-yo Beta RR390.
Yes it's clear the cop is right. And it's even worse because without pedal it's 20mph not even 28mph. These sunron are not ebike at all they are electric motor bike.

You pay taxes for those trails and should be able to use them on a CLASS2 bike(LOL). Mr Mt Bike does not own the public trail system. excuse me, but what an ass. One more thing...Make sure the officer is right, Check with the City/County/State. I think she could be wrong. The street wheelies look very cool and you are very talented, but yea it crosses the line, but I never see you complain about that. Stay safe young man.
Mountain bike trails (typically single track) are usually built and maintained by volunteers who also worked to get the trail systems sanctioned by local municipalities. The electric dirt bikes not only erode the trails but put in jeopardy the trail access. I love to ride dirt bikes but had to switch to mountain bikes for local access. It would really suck to lose that because of electric dirt bikes. That being said these guys only rode on paved trails and fire roads. If you think dirt bikes should be allowed on those paved trails (which let’s be honest, are for slower traffic like bikes and hikers) well I guess I’ll fire up my KX and go for a spin.
@@chucknoob7041 I am specifically talking about this video and this ride. If its public land and not just for mountain bikers, my opinion is they pay taxes on it, and it should be open to the e-bike use period. This Mr MT Biker was an arrogant ass.
@@RVEnthusiast Well Mr. MTB’s approach was poor to say the least. I was trying to provide some insight into why he was upset. The ride on this video was completely illegal. Aside from wheelies on public roads, The Sur-Ron is well above the power requirements of a class 2 bike. If I was that officer I would have started handing out tickets when he quoted the law to me. People were getting away with it but the secret is out and tickets will follow.
All I can ask is that you respect the people and help recondition trails as a volunteer. I am 67 years old and can see my future trails disappearing because I have to ride a pedal assist bike because of physical needs. Please don't cause people to ban any electric bikes because you are out destroying the trails and pissing off the tax payers wanting to use what they have worked for.
I'm from Pennsylvania and was visiting that location a couple of years ago. I rode my bicycle down that trail to the ocean and back up. It was a beautiful experience. If I had encountered that group it would have totally changed my mind. I agree with the older guy in the beginning of the video because I'm an ex-mountainbiker myself who worked hard for years to make trails for mountainbikes. The only confrontations we ever had was with horseback riders because the horses would tear up a trails so badly you couldn't ride bikes on them. We never went on the trails the dirt bikes used. This whole eBike business is getting out of control and I'm surprised there aren't a lot more serious accidents.
The only problem i have with Horses are the Shit Piles on the Forest Trails. But it's also a Slalom event. Only hit the old and dry ones and you're good.

I live in a small town in Idaho and so far the cops are just “interested” in my SurRon (it’s the only one I have seen here). I’m really interested in upgrading to 72 volts. I’m 79 years old and I especially like the lightness of the SurRon, but I would like a higher top speed.

“Were you the guy’s that got called gay earlier? Because we just got a call!” 🤣🤣🤣
Where do you live, cause it sounds like that area threw away freedom for beauracracy
Yeah i was really wondering how the heck these pass as 750w when the product page says 3kw/6kw peak stock. You wouldn't see performance anywhere near what they're showing on a lightweight road bike putting 750w through the crank. And that's without a metal frame, batteries, motor etc

So long you guys ain’t riding single track MTB trails that dude on the MTB shouldn’t be mad.
Bullshit. Sur Rons are perfect for single track MTB trails - I ride 4-5 times a week on my local trails and co-exist perfectly with the meat puppets. Just follow the rules and be courteous.
@@chasefrillman4114 tears it up how? U mean too much loose dirt?
@@absolute757 you can create your own berms and mini trails witha Surron if you’re going hard into everything on there
@@absolute757 Dirt loosens up in general even with regular bikes.
I wish they were legal but their bikes def don't fit class 2 so the cop was correct.
They don't but the cop also doesn't know the law. If they were actually class 2 and they still looked like "dirt bikes" she would still told them they couldn't ride the trail, by her logic any motorize vehicle is not allowed.
A lot of time and effort goes into building and maintaining mountain bike trails. Surrons pretty much destroy them.
I used to mountain bike in Wales, but too many Karrons were moaning and vandalising my car. In Scotland even Karen mounting bikes! Best move I ever made.

“Under 750 watts”
You’re running 6000+ watts. The 72 volt bikes are probably running close to 7500 watts and you’re claiming 750 watts 😂

What are you even saying
Who cares let everyone have fun it ain't your trail so get over it I'm pretty sure he's just mad he ain't got an e bike and that's why he mad cause he has to pedal

We already have signs on our trails now.
"No E-bikes of any kind"

I was about to say, if it's a state regulated area, they should have expected this. I'm not saying they weren't within their rights, but you just don't play with fire like this and not expect to get stopped.
They did not sound prepared at all to speak to the police.
Still, let this be a lesson to cyclists that ebikes aren't often respected or understood by law enforcement, so you best lay low or drive slow, or learn how to stand up for yourself 😂
Yes, standing up to the cops is a skill everyone should learn, as important as following the law.

Another awesome video. It does beg the biggest question / challenge we face with Surrons - We have no legitimate way to register them to become legal. If anyone outside of CA has figured out a way, I’d love to hear about it. I’m in FL btw.
You dont want them plated...then you would be breaking laws in trails.
As long as there stock and you don't cut the wire to make them faster most states will let you ride them on the road
@@jrockstubed - Just get an OHV sticker from your state, which you already need on the "trails."

I'm 64 years old. I enjoy watching all your videos. Keep being who you are . You seem very respectful. You should use the hell out of the trails that Mr Mt Bike Carved out himself.

Well Mr.

Only hit the old and dry ones and you're good.
none of that justified that guy in the beginning being an asshole though.
