Bentley, stop growing! I’ve loved seeing Maci and his’s story sense 16 and pregnant. He has always been my favorite teen mom kid because he’s just so well mannered, and truly a wonderful kid. It’s crazy to think he’s going to middle school now! Maci and Taylor, are doing such an amazing job with raising him, Jayde, and Maverick!

Ryan was hindered by his parents Unfortunately. They spoiled him rotten and he never had consequences for his actions. Never had to get a job etc. Ryan is still a handsome man. He's so emotionally stunted from his father as well. I really do hope he gets better.

I was a teen mom back in the early 90's, way before Teen Mom. I remember watching this show from the first episode, and I was rooting for every one of these ladies. My hat goes off to Maci, though. She really makes me proud. There is alot of drama being a teen mom, hence the "teen" part of it. The adults were the worst. They had a way of putting you down without realizing it. The adults would talk their shit about what a mistake I had made, and how my life is now going to basically be over. The negativity heavily outweighed the positive. But, myself and hundreds of thousands of other teen moms actually make it out pretty well. We have put ourselves and our children first, and we made it! Life is not over... it's just beginning. Love you Maci. You make us all very proud.

We have 3 kids. Our oldest that made me a teen mom is 22 tomorrow! He is serving in the Navy as is our 20yo daughter. If you have the ability to put your child 1st & set boundaries whether you're a teen or 40 having a baby-your kids will be ok😊
Maci has to be one of the most level headed,down to earth,cordial,low key, emotionally and mentally mature mothers out of both series. I admire how she raises Bentley and the rest of her family Taylor is like one of the best things that ever happen to her. Sandi I completely agree and I definitely feel that teenagers should have the choice to go or not but for a child I feel it’s important for them to have that time, especially when they aren’t seeing the one parent nearly as much. Ryan just bothers my soul with his lack of parenting and sense of self-awareness of how he’s affecting Bentley.

I named my Gecko Bentley, watched this show as a kid probably 6th grade or 5th and LOVED his name and it stuck with me FOREVER. I absolutely will consider naming my son if I ever have one. Its just a beautiful name

This post is not meant to be negative, because I love how Maci and Ryan's family work to make Bentley feel good about his blended family. But i have to address the elephant in the room. The first scene was cute, but I hate when parents take away their kids moment by telling them that they are expecting especially with situations like Bentley's it was so clear that he was in shock and needed to progress the news. They had 9 months to tell him they didn't have to tell him on his birthday. I know they wanted him to feel included, but i think that was the first of when Bentley had to pretend he was happy about the news when he really wasn't. That was announcement was really about Maci and Taylor's new chapter. I know that Maci and Ryan's family means well but sometimes I feel like try overdo moments to show Bentley that their happy about the bended family he has when there are underline tensions going on that Bentley is aware of. Bentley can feel the tension just as much as he can feel the joy of big brother. I'm glad that they are trying for Bentley but i worry sometimes he says he's good just to keep the peace and I scared he's going hide his pain into an addiction like Ryan did.
