  • In this course we will show you how to quickly and easily use "Chord Finder" and "Strum Pattern" here in Studio One to jump start your song writing. The Chord Track is a global track that is similar to the Arranger track, and provides the ability to perform "harmonic editing" of both Instrument and Audio Parts. "Strum Pattern," is a new feature that allows you to gracefully manipulate the performance of midi chords and notes.

Thx! That was helpful. Using the chord track off the bassline is a great way to use it. I had been experimenting with on piano tracks but that just gets messy with extensions, etc. I was curious though, why you tracked the piano in A Maj when then chord track from the bassline suggests you are in A min? not a criticism just wondering if that was intentional or am I missing something?l

I was thinking the same. if the bassline 'implies' A minor wouldn't an A major chord clash with the b3?
