Nice job...good to see you talking about Scaler. It is a great tool. When you update 2.7, you will get access to the new Multi Voice Output. This lets you select which note of a chord you want sent to external instruments. All you do is set your midi channel on the instrument Input using Scaler. (11:43 / Track 2 / Scaler Midi channel) Ch1 = all notes, CH2 = lowest note, CH3 the next higher note, etc) You can combine this with S1s multi-instrument to get some pretty interesting results.

yes !!! I love scaler. I used scaler as an example, it could be any other plugin that spits midi data. Still, I recorded this before the 2.7 i guess. I record everything sometimes week or couple months before the video it's live, maybe 2.7 was not available.
Updated to 2.7 a few days ago, It's just great, one of the best VST's out there.

I have a question. I can't get the routing to work but I did notice, that I do not have the channels as you have. instead mine shows as MIDI Input 1. I was able to follow along as you showed but again, can't get it to work. any ideas? I am on Studio One 6. Thank you

Did you figure out how to route some of the features inside kontakt libraries to an outside instrument track
For ex. A sequencer or whatever
    Like we do with Scaler2
Or even with sequencer inside Arturia Pigments
I know those are built in the instrument itself , not a Library inside a carier like kontakt sampler
But the new updates in libraries like Deft lines are awesome to use outside kontakt as a controller for other instruments
Also did you figure out how to midi-out for instrument track
    In studio one
I am using midi-out option inside waves ovox , it's incredible
But sometimes I use audio jack or audio gridder but latency is bad

your explanations are great. Please don't mix it with commercial things like 'scaler'. It took some time to disentangle this for a first user of Studio One.

Thanks. Well, I used scaler because I thought it was going to be clear and visual. Plugin boutique doesn't sponsor, I don't even get free plugins. If promotions or sponsoring ruins the teaching factor, it is a "no go" for me.
