That convertible leaning post is sweet! Love my ‘05 Dauntless 160 leaning post that is so much more functional than all the larger boats on the market today. The ability to convert to aft facing is a great feature!
Good looking new products, nice job BW.
Recently I needed parts for my 14yrs old Montauk. Their online free tech info, drawings, OEM parts via BW UK dealer and fast global shipped were just brilliant. For me the back up is important and it just works.
Looks perfect! Dauntless has long been my first choice in the lineup! This one is just a homerun!
Gorgeous!
Dream boat...
Nice boat!
Great work Boston Whaler.... Its time to trade in my Dauntless 270 which is 2 years old :)
I have a 270. Out of curiousity, what do you find better or more exciting than a 270? I don't get it? The power sliding items that will break and keep you in the shop more than on the water?
Cant wait to see this ! Very exciting
We can't wait!
Nice fisher boat
Looks like a nice bay boat with a little bit of a crossover. Decent if you got $250,000 to put into a 28 foot boat that you can’t really go offshore in comfortably. I still think BW is missing the mark but of course it is a beautiful boat. Build quality and fit and finish will be second to none.
Missing the mark? LMAO
They offer plenty of offshore capable boats. Dauntless fills the inshore market and is appreciated by those of those who spend our time solely inshore.
@@daveklein2826 Yeah. For a quarter million dollars, you get amazing technology and they also throw in a toilet in a box you could use. For that money, I'd like a place to lay my head and cook a meal.
Love this boat, only flaw I see is the keys sticking out in the head to possibly be broken in rough seas, can't have that
Life by the Bow crew
Love love love just wish they went with a dive door instead
The 1 major Achilles of all the Outrage and Dauntless lines is the head access. The doorway is just too tight for any person over 6'2" and 275+ lbs. Americans are not getting smaller or lighter as the decades pass......unfortunately.
Otherwise it's a stunning boat.
Great deal 2 billion.
This boat is gorgeous…. The only thing I’d change is a bigger live well. 19 gal live well is so small ? 😢
There is a 2nd live well?
There is an optional second livewell
If a dealer don't have the boat you want. Where can I go and see a few boats. ( THE HOME OFFICE ) or a bigger dealer. Am in Texas. please give me a feed back. So I don't have to jump from dealer and dealer. I don't mind traveling to a one stop boat dealer.
Didn't see many rod holders, especially in the rear
Beautiful, I think BW should come use my property on Torch Lake, film their next advertisements and accidentally leave a 220 behind….
This is what I call a tweener boat. I does nothing well.
LIAR
@@daveklein2826 well aren’t you a genius.
@@snookman9920 Why thank you for noticing....you are very observant
No Rails?
im sure you can add them
Not a lot of deadrise for offshore work.
Exactly. I don’t know what market they are going after. Too drafty for serious inshore fishing, crappy seating layout, lousy deadrise and low gunwales for offshore. Also, having the batteries in the stern bilge for this boat is a huge problem. Take it from me, I had problems from day one with two different (2017 and 2019) Dauntlesses. I had two terrible experiences with the 240 Dauntless Pro (the factory sponsored a trade of my first DP for a new one) and I sent Boston Whaler a long email with my recommendations and they ignored all of them, both for the new 25 and 28 Dauntless. I now own a Yellowfin and am extremely happy. For the money and for this size boat, you should look at the premium brands and not BW.
No stepped hull?!
Probably cost a little more than my ‘73 Outrage?
I am sure it will be $250k for it - these things have gotten so expensive. SMH.
Haha more like $350k
@@vickyn8162 yup I was quoted about 200k on the 240 and 280 on the 270. This is gonna be over 300K for sure. Good luck selling in this economy
@@vickyn8162 Yeah but hey, you get a toilet. Jesus I wish people would stop buying these. It's the only way to show them how overpriced these are (as nice as they are).
The MSRP for this boat is $217K
