HOA's INSANE Blackberry INFESTATION In Their Storm Runoff! Blackberry Mulching Stihl FS-240

- Today we are working on this insane blackberry project that also has a side of english ivy. This area is owned by an HOA and is a storm runoff section for excess water during the rainy seasons. Unfortunately, this area was neglected and that resulted in blackberry bushes that were over 13 feet tall!
Being truly an insane battleground we came in pushing and fighting mulching up all this vegetation as best as we could. The Stihl FS-240 fought hard and strong with the mulching blade and we took out a massive area of blackberries and ivy. In the end, everyone was left satisfied and grateful this mess could be dealt with.

Now that’s a lot of blackberries! Those boulders are amazing. They should be seen.
I agree! When I saw them I was surprised that they were even there.
Ty jsi Davide na tyhle porosty geniální! 👍👍👏🌿👋
Magnifico! Top notch blackberry eradication!
BLACKBERRIES! Those things are everywhere. And then the invasive blackberries become home to all that invasive ivy. I presume poison ivy is next. Nice job! That is a really cool area and it was so overgrown, no one could know it was there.
Very pretty area now you've cleared it. They should maintain it and do something with it. Thanks for the video.
Another site resurrection done! Wow, what a change. Your the best, Dave! See you on the next. 🙂👍🇺🇸
It is kind of like making a path through the amazon jungle. You are very good at what you do. Stay safe out there.
great job
Thank you!
Have you used the 3-bladed Oregon blade? (I just bought a house that has 14 years worth of bramble growth that I have to eliminate.) Thank you for posting these videos!
I have used the 3 tooth blade but I would advise against using it. First of all it’s a lot heavier which puts more strain on the machine and then the operator. Secondly your range of motion will become limited as you can’t pick it up higher comfortably due to its weight. There’s also the problem of balance, if you hit a rock with the blade and one of the teeth get damaged it will be off balance and you will have some very bad vibration. The balance is hard to set on a 3 tooth.
The 3 tooth has its uses when you’re doing bramble about waist high and when you know what’s under the bramble.
The 2 tooth is lighter, less strain on the operator and machine, has more maneuverability and is easier to set back if it gets damaged.
@@golovinpropertyservices Wow! What a comprehensive, useful response!!! Thank you very much for sharing your experience!
@@FirstLast-yj4ri you’re welcome! 😁👍
You must be so tired of blackberries 😔❤🇦🇺🦘
I actually really love these projects😅👍
You didn't trimmed the trees
The trees are fine, they aren’t creating any problems.
